This is a thrill ride with science fiction, military, medical… and of course erotic spanking romance. Dr. Lara Simmons encounters many challenges as she tries to heal the war wounds on Jesel. Not the least of which is Blade. She learns quickly, exactly what is meant by his moniker, the hand of vengeance.
I’ve read and listened to several of Renee Rose’s books and she never fails to exceed my expectations. This is also my third experience listening to Sierra Kline read. She is fast becoming my favorite reader.

The Hand of Vengeance began with Dr. Lara Simmons being taken by the group of rebels lead by Blade Vengeance. Without knowing what Lara was kidnapped for, Lara did everything she could think of in escaping.
Blade has only one mission which is to bring Dr. Lara Simmons to perform an emergency surgery which would save the rightful exiled President's life and restored her to power. Lara refused to obey his rules which are to keep her safe. The only thing that Blade could do was to discipline her by spanking.
What Lara didn't count on was that her traitorous body like being spanked by Blade and has her sexually aroused. Tried as she might, she can't help but admired Blade for his heroic actions in freeing his people from the slavery.
The story is very well written and told from Lara and Blade's point of view. Both characters came from a different background. Lara couldn't trust Blade that he would keep her save and to keep his word that she will be released after she has completed a task for the rebels. Blade couldn't offer Lara anything after being a slave and a freedom fighter.
Blade didn't planned on falling for Lara. She was a distraction that he cannot afford when preparation for the final strike of the revolution against the tyrant in power.
Another thing I like about the story is that the relationship develops between Lara and Blade. Even both are at odds with each other, they develop a mutual understanding of each other roles.
The story is very well-balanced between the storyline, conflicts, and submissive spanking sex. This is one audible book that I will listen again.
The narrator, Sierra Kline does an excellent job in narrating the story. I love the tone and infliction of her voice for each of the characters. The narrator's voice held my attention and has me hooked to the story. I couldn't wait to listen to the rest of the story and really wanted to blow off work except that I can't.
I was given this audiobook by the narrator via Audiobook Blast and voluntary wrote a review for the book. I was not compensated or influenced in any way for writing this review.

What did you love best about The Hand of Vengeance?
First "This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of AudiobookBlast com".
Oh man, the freaking story line was amazing. I love, love romance/erotica books but sometimes they are just sex but not this book. The story was Great and full up twist and turns that were not the typical I knew that would happen. I think Laura was a very strong woman and so I loved her character. Blade....Oh boy....he was just all sexy cave man!!! I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to the
What other book might you compare The Hand of Vengeance to and why?
I might would compare it..Nope, It is in a class of its own. Honestly I think that the story line from what I read was very original and just well written.
What does Sierra Kline bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
This Narrator was great, she read this book like it was a true story, with different emotions, great voices and not like a slutty sci fi erotica book. I mean the Narrator can take a great book and make it horrible but Sierra took a great story and made it more......
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Some women just need a hand, a firm hand, a hand of Vengeance. lol
Any additional comments?
Great Book I will be reading more from this author and more books narrated by Sierra Kline.

This was a pretty good book until the end. The last great sex scene was boring then it went on to another epilogue with him massaging her clit while she gives birth. This is so implausible as to make the ending of the book destroy the mostly good book which came before
She was doing what doctors over time and space, have always done, volunteered in war torn places, to assist anyone who was injured.
He was the one who had been the catalyst for the rebellion, when his sister had been assaulted and killed, something inside had flicked and he became the " Hand of Vengeance".
He had come for her, because the rebel leader needed her surgical expertise. The events that followed brought them together, with trust on her part and respect on his.
I go no further into the story, as it is a tale you need to read, or listen to..
I will give you warning as to the sexually exploit sequences within the context of the story, as with the use of corporal punishment, also within the culture in which our warrior belongs.
I love the freedom an audio rendition gives the listener, allowing you to multi task, whilst still enjoying a good story.
That Hand of Vengeance really used his hands. A dark romance if you like 'em. Not for when you're in a Nora mood. Narration ok, but not on the super sexy level.
The heroine in this audiobook is a doctor, on a war torn planet for a humanitarian mission. In the midst of surgery, she is kidnapped by the hero to save the rebel leader’s life. They go from having an adversarial relationship to one of love, but there are pitfalls and ambushes ahead for their lives. I really enjoyed this story a lot, but be forewarned there are some sex scenes and domestic discipline scenes in the book.
I have to say this book stands above and beyond all the other si/fi books I have listened to or read. You painted a very vivid picture while keeping me entertained with the story line. The female and male roles were strong. I loved both characters. Thank you so much for the epilogue. It just made the book even better. I recommend highly. Great steamy romantic, with a good amount of angst. Just wanted to also add the narrator was great.
Title tell it all. This is a great love story of how love can grow over time.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Renee Rose knows how to capture your attention from the beginning and keep it throughout the entire story! Loved the kidnapping of the doctor and listening to the dominance of her warrior and the way their love story blossomed!
