A passionate romance mixed with suspense & mystery

Another breath-taking story filled with suspense, mystery, intrigue, and hot sex! Lisa Renee Jones will captivate you and pull you in from the very beginning. There is always a mystery or a twist or turn and you never know where you are going to end up. In this book, there did seem to be less action when compared to the two previous ones. I think we experience more drama rather than action. Either way, still delicious to me! Well, lets talk about Chris and Sara… *sigh* I seriously just adore them. Although, they can certainly exhaust the hell out of you! This book is very focused on the development of Sara's and Chris relationship. I experienced the thrill, the love, the suspense, and the hot connection between Sara and Chris more than ever!! This book starts off with Sara making the decision to get on the plane to meet Chris and begin their new life in Paris. While Sara is trying to learn her new life in Paris, she feels somebody is following her. It doesn't help that she was robbed at the Paris airport and no longer has a passport. She continues to search for her missing friend Ella while also finding out somebody else is looking for her friend too. Sara's life is spinning out of control and she is not sure if she can hold on to Chris and stays in Paris. The story does reveal the inner secrets of Chris and his past, it also opens the door to the possibility that's Rebecca is not dead, and perhaps Ella is tied up in the same kind of trouble. Overall, the plot is imaginative, and its erotic romantic suspense at its best. These stories from Lisa Renee Jones just keep getting better and better. They are full of suspense, plenty of steamy sex, and every single one of them leaves you wanting more! I am an absolute addict when it comes to the Inside Out Series. I can't wait for more about all these characters that Lisa Renee Jones has brought to life. If you haven’t picked up this series yet, I really think you should. It has so many aspects to it, there’s something for everyone. The writing is intelligent and it just grabs you and doesn’t let go.  These books are well written, sexy and have instantly become favorites of mine! I cannot wait see what happens. Hurry Lisa we are all waiting for the next book….

My favorite Erotic series!

This book picks up right where Being Me left off and we find Sara following Chris to Paris. This is where she hopes to discover Chris’s secrets and to find out what happened to her best friend Ella. This book focuses on Sara and Chris and how they deal with their demons and try to figure out how to be together. There is plenty of suspense, romance, drama and smexy in this installment. Thankfully we get a “conclusion” to Sara and Chris’s story, but there are still some unanswered questions.

It appears that this is no longer a trilogy and has now become a series. I’m a little disappointed by this but at least there is some closure. There is a big cliffhanger at the end involving another character (*I don’t want to spoil it for you) so I can see where this is turning into a series.

5 star listen in my opinion!

This Series Just Keeps Getting Better!

Another winner from Lisa Renee Jones, Revealing Us is the next sexy installment in the Inside Out Series. This story picks up after Being Me and should not be read out of order as the events in Being Me directly affect where Sara and Chris are at the start of this book. That being said, beware of possible spoilers below if you have yet to read this series. And if you have yet to read this series, what are you waiting for? This series is one of a kind and always keeps you on the edge of your seat with no idea what will happen next. These books are well written, sexy and have instantly become favorites of mine!

NO WAY THIS IS THE SAME SERIES I WAS INTO!!!

What did you like best about Revealing Us? What did you like least?

The best I can't say cause it would be a spoiler. There is so many things I disliked about this book, that I don't have enough room. I am so disappointed in this. How can we wait this for this. REALLY?

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The entire book was almost painful to listen to I cannot get over the stupid things Sara does in this book. I sat it down so many times saying I think I got the wrong book. There were small, and I am saying that to be kind, that were good, but not many

Which character – as performed by Grace Grant – was your favorite?

Grace Grant is good, but this performance almost, and again being kind here, almost changed my mind. She could not even change in between different person's as she normally does. Grace is on of my fav's to listen to. But in this.. She is way off.

Do you think Revealing Us needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

I don't know.. I want to think that it does, but so scared that LRJ will cause me to just not want to ever listen to anything about Chris and Sara afraid of what she will do to them.. This was not her work from the other book, that's for sure.

Any additional comments?

I don't know about the other followers of this series of books, but the author was on a roll. So much so I could not wait until this came out. But it died a slow death. I keep saying "Oh come on,, start telling me a story here" It was hard to hear how Sara became brain dead at times. She was a bright, smart, and sometimes I would question the things she did, but in this one..OMG..she was must of hit her head heading to the airport to meet him on the way to Paris. And he changed also. Not as bad as she did, but a different Chris, but I expected that. I just don't want to say anything about this, I wanna keep the last thing they said to one another in my head and hope there is a HEA and leave it alone. This is by far the worst tag on to a series of books I have listened to so far. So upset at what she did and what the big secret was that he said would destroyed them while in California. Oh come on. He could of told her that in a night of sharing more than some of the things he did very early on. Yeah, for me to go forward on this, she really has to redeem herself (the author) in order for me to pick this back up.. I am hurt on this. Once I have had enough of a story or I think it was destroyed and trust me, this was ripped apart. I don't return to them.. NOPE, no good things to say about this.To me, it's not worth paying, and thinking right now, I would not of given a credit for this.. If another comes out and it will, cause of the stupid things that are going on that don't have a thing to do with Sara and Chris, I will watch and see what others say.. I can't be the only one that thinks she took one of the great top series and destroyed it.

WHAT HAPPENED!!!!

To start, let me say I enjoyed the first two books. This one however was not even close to being as good. The author turned the main character, Sarah into a whinny, second guessing, wishy washy little annoying fool. I couldn't even bring my self to finnish it, I tried really hard but My eyes were getting sore from rolling them so much. Now I know every one who read the first two books feel obligated to read the last but don't say I didn't warn you.

All Over the Place?

I was very disappointed. The three stars are for the character of Chris. He is so sweet.

Disappointed

I really enjoyed the first two books in this series, but Revealing Us was not quite as engrossing. I almost always give Grace Grant 5 stars, but this time she wasn't on her game. She didn't differentiate the male/female voices very well; her French accent was way off; and at times, it was hard to distinguish between actual conversation between people and the internal musings of a character's mind. All her other narrations have been stellar, and this one mediocre performance won't prevent me from listening to more Grace Grant narrations.

As for the story, it dragged out the angst beyond the pale. It really got old in this installment of the series. And let's give Sara the "here's your sign" award for her stupid decision to rescue Amber in the closing segment of the book. Am I the only one who was screaming at my iPod at that point??

At this point, I don't know if I will listen to further installments of this series (the author has indicated that books 4 and 5 are forthcoming). I haven't worked up enough interest in Ella to care about her HEA, although the book about the trial has me a bit intrigued.

Not worth the wait or the credit...

First, I think Grace Grant is a wonderful narrator...After the first book I was really really angry by the way it ended.. Having to wait for book two was frustrating. However in my opinion book two was the best. After waiting for months for book three once it came out I re-listened to book one and two again then listened to book three I have to agree with the person who's subject line was disappointing. After all the build up in three books to find out Chris's secret was a real let down. Even Sarah's was a let down in book two was no big deal. I am very disappointed I wasted 2 credited on this series and will not do so again. I'm also tired of all the men that are rich gorgeous dysfunctional sex gods who prey on plain women with low self esteem who can't believe anyone would want them. Because the men are SO above them even the other women in the book are like models. Come on, come up with something better. As for Lisa Renee Jones I'll never purchase another book by her again.

Still a hit but a bit overdone

This is one of my favourite series but I have to say that it was a bit drawn out. Sara and Chris are a wonderful love story and both books prior to this one had me screaming for more. I felt like the narration was a bit off as well. I love, love, love Grace Grant and this time there were a few parts where Chris and Sara were talking and you could not tell them apart. As other reviewers said it will not stop me from listening to her again because she is simply great. I think that at some points in the story it just keeps going on and on about this secrete so you are expecting something major and frankly it was a bit of a letdown. Sara was pretty stupid in this book. At times I wanted to knock some sense into her. The entire Amber rescue and then drinking at the bar. One minute she is desperate to get out and the next she is drinking and becomes totally drunk in 5 minutes. I just could not understand her. Regardless of these minor complaints I will still continue with the next book. I think it should be longer for the price. I hate when authors get greedy and start cutting up books in order to get more money. This one could have had more to it. Overall I still love this series and highly recommend you read/listen to it. It is hard not to crave more of this and it will be interesting how Ella merges with this book.

Enjoyable

This was a highly anticipated book for me and thoroughly enjoyed the book. The author has an amazing way with words. There is still relationship angst, mystery, challenges and hope throughout this book as was in the first 2 books.

The only things that would have made this better was to see Sara be more confident in her relationship with Chris, she was easy to second guess everything so I would like to have seen her with more conviction. I also wish this book was the wrap up instead of having to wait for book 4 & 5.
