Publisher's summary

My cock has an appetite. A huge and very particular appetite: blond, curvy, and preferably not a f--king liar... (Although that's a story for another day.) As a high-profile lawyer, I don't have time to waste on relationships, so I fulfill my needs by anonymously chatting and sleeping with women I meet online. My rules are simple: one dinner. One night. No repeats. This is only casual sex. Nothing more. Nothing less. At least it was until Alyssa...

She was supposed to be a 27-year-old lawyer, a book hoarder, and completely unattractive. She was supposed to be someone I shared law advice with late at night, someone I could trust with details of my weekly escapades. But then she came into my firm for an interview--a college-intern interview--and everything f--king changed....

Great Dark hero but the heroine was lacking for me

Any additional comments?

I actually enjoyed the book more then I thought I would... the narration was fabulous and that added to the enjoyment a lot! The beginning of the story reminded me a lot of Beautiful Bastard which was a big A+ for me... So I really got into it and was totally excited! However...:0( by the middle of the story I started to get a little annoyed with the heroine... I mean come on at the beginning she was strong gave it as good as she got it but by the middle she almost turned into a doormat! No! No! No! I started to really fear for the novel but luckily she did get her backbone in the end. Yet still the book lost some of it's momentum for me. Would I recommend it? Sure. I have never read anything by this author before and would not mind giving another one of her books a try.

Really good!

I don't usually enjoy books that are set in law backgrounds, but I loved this one. The characters of Aubrey and Andrew/Liam were narrated so well and the story was unique. I highly recommend this book!

I was 100% entertained.

ok this book was originally released in 3 parts I got the full 3 part audiobook. The cliffhanger endings to the first two parts was totally unneeded since the audiobook was about 8hrs and a complete story. anyway that's not relevant to this review.

I actually really liked Andrew. He was a dick but he was a funny blunt to the point dick. His focus on sex and his dirty mouth made the electronic communications between him and Aubrey very laugh out loud worthy. There were some plot devices that were used but not fully explained but it's not enough to make me scream and rail about how silly they were. I listened to this book in one straight shot. I started it yesterday evening and literally stayed up all night listening to the book until i passed out at 6:30am. Andrews "voice" was so complex. I suspected the reason for his behaviors and I wanted to give him a big ass hug (ok fine....maybe more than a hug). Aubrey could have played things a lot cooler. She KNEW he had trust issues and commitment issues so instead of taking her time and letting things progress without rocking the boat she pushed and pushed and pushed and when Andrew ran she was all the hell with you. She could have finessed the situation a bit better. But she was entitled to her feelings as I think I'd probably feel the same way. The ending was satisfying but I would have liked to have seen a bit more closure for Andrew and his other life and the man he was in the beginning of the book.

Story - 3.5
Narrators - AWESOME JOB. Sebastian York makes me want to bone a lot of book characters. He brings a certain sarcasm and swag to the table. He's one of the narrators who I stalk on Audible to see what releases he has out. The female narrator Erin Mallon was very breathy. She did a good job but she had Aubrey sounding like she was on the verge of tears in almost every scene.

LOVED it!!!!

This was the best series/book I've listened too! Loved the books, so you never know before listening to a book if it would be much different then reading it. This narrarion was PERFECTION and I enjoyed it from begining to end! Despite Andrew's blunt personality, I loved him in the books and the narrator for him was SO perfect and spot on!! You could truly invision Andrew listening to it. Well done series that will always be a fave of mines!

Great Experience

Would you consider the audio edition of Reasonable Doubt to be better than the print version?

This book is great the narrator is great his and her voices bring across the point great. i really enjoyed this book seen as it was my first i highly reecomend this book to every one who uses this site.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character to be honest was alisa because no matter the situation she always found the positive in it, she never gave up even when her parents begun to rip her dreams apart with standing the heartbreak and injury during her earlier years regardless of her stopping to to heal properly she was still able to be better than those that she was dancing against this to me shows determination and perseverance i really admire this in her i love her :) <3

Which scene was your favorite?

ALL THE SEX SCENE!!! the description were graphic as if i was there feeling it making love to her is was as if i was feeling all that the characters were feeling.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

How to deal with the stress of liars

Any additional comments?

Female narrator

Her breathing pattern after each line was too noticeable and became distracting. It was a great book

Wow!

This was a hot roller coaster ride. I don't usually buy or read continuation novels with cliffhangers as I find them frustrating. By the time as equal comes out, it is hard to remember the story. I am so glad that I was able to read all three books together, and this is why I decided to try an author I hadn't read before. I'm glad I did.
