I felt like this book could have been cut by 1/3 and the story would have still been the same. Two major plot points (how Caleb became a bear shifter and how he and Olivia met) were repeated at least 3 times during the telling of this story. The retelling broke up the flow of the story.

I have given R.P. James another chance. I would like to see what happens in that book.

I thought that D. Rampling did well with the material she was given. I would listen to her work again.

Good book

I was given this book in exchange for my honest opinion. It was a good book. Short but good.

Hot

there is plenty of hotness in this one. there were a couple of places where it felt a little repetitive and these spots could have maybe been used for bonding between the characters. otherwise, not too bad.

Could be better

Author repeats too much information. The basic story is good but instead of fleshing it out we are given the same information more than once. Needs a good editing to point out all the duplicates
Narrator did a good job but the storyline needs work so the narration made me laugh a lot and it's not supposed to be funny

not well written

acessive wording when describing sex scenes. struggled to finish it. if I could get a refund I would. narrator did a good job with the low rent porn style of writing considering what she had to work with. surprised she managed not to have laughter in her voice as she was reading it. wonder how many times she had to stop tape to get through this reading?

Story sucks

BOOK REVIEW.....
The story is really bad. No depth to the character or story at all. The love scenes are hilarious! But that is due to the in large part to the narrator also. The description of the act is so pathetic and sad. Worst writing ever! But the narrator acting it out is just so funny that it makes having listen to it worth it. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time.

I found the narrator to be truly awful at doing male voices. But the reading of the story is priceless. So funny!!!

Quick wham bam anglo girl & 2 anglo bear shifters

The story repeats itself several times and curvy anglo female waitress has sex with stray costumer in parking lot..(after she witness him shift into bear) then she has sex with his best friend.. They all 3...... You get the message.. this was short and NOT my cup of tea.. VERY GRAPHIC SEX SCENES... I didn't finish listening to story.

An ok short story!

This is the second book from this author I have listened to and this one was a little bit better. It was an ok storyline with some hot and steamy sex. I wasn't a fan of the story repeating itself on how Caleb became a shifter and Olivia's story.

Hot, steamy, and well worth listening too

Love R.P. James' books and Narrator D. Rampling did an amazing job.

You have to almost feel sorry for Caleb. Here was was bitten by a bear shifter as a child and it changed his life forever. He became very sick and his parents or doctors did not know what was wrong with him. As he got older of course the bear within would take control during a full moon. The bear was out for blood. It loved to kill. So far he had not killed a human but was scared what would happen if a human came across his bear. This drew him into the forest in his teenage years.

Caleb was lucky that he ran across another bear shifter his age. Him and Roaul became best friends. There were almost inseparable. Caleb did long for human to be close to people so he started going back to town to people watch. He do his best to make sure it was not during a full moon, but made a mistake one evening and happen in town during a full moon.

Olivia had been having a hard time. Cheating boyfriend, working herself to death at the diner, and school. Now hear she was face to face with an anger bear. She never dreamed this bear would turn out the be a handsome, sexual attractive man named Caleb. They started seeing each other and falling in love.

Olivia was not aware that there were other bear shifters around. Now face to face with Caleb’s best friend Roaul who is just as attractive she was shocked. Now here she was cheating on Caleb. The betrayal hurt Caleb now here him and his best friend was trying to kill each other. Will they ever find a neutral ground or will they fight to the death? Will Olivia make it out of this alive?

If you love bear shifter stories then you will love this one. It has some extreme hot sexy parts in it, so be prepared for a cold shower or have toys handy..LOL
