Publisher's summary

Electrician Providence Velour is called in to fix an electrical problem in a cosmetics factory in her remote hometown. But what she discovers throws her into deep trouble and into the arms of a large and sexy alien.

Zelron, a warrior of Kelon, is a dangerous creature wanting to kill the humans who hold him captive. Ever since his ship crashed on Earth, he has been at their cruel mercy. When a small human female stumbles into his cell, Zelron has little choice but to protect her; it's that or let his tormentors kill her.

The passion between them burns white hot as Zelron claims the curvy Providence as his own. As they fight for their freedom, the company will do anything to keep their secret under wraps, even if it costs Providence and Zelron their lives.

Narration is subpar

The narrator has no idea how to do an Australian accent. The lilt at the end of each sentence is exceedingly annoying.

More Great Stories in this Series

Again, the author has done a great job continuing the series but making each book so different you don't get burned out. Love that they moved the series to earth and included strong female characters that can kick butt (or create an impromptu taser). Don't like the narrator's accents but I do like it when she reads and doesn't do the speaking parts.

Narrator was awful

The narrator was fine when she talked naturally, but her accents were so bad to be laughable. The Australian characters sounded somewhere between a bad Australia accent and a bad cockney accent. It was truly awful.

Painfully bad narrator

What would have made Possessing Providence better?

I love the story, have read it many times, but the narrator is just awful

What was one of the most memorable moments of Possessing Providence?

The moment she finds the hero in the cell, her reaction

What didn’t you like about Jennifer Cliff’s performance?

Her non dialogue sounds robotic, but her dialogue is almost comically bad. I gave up at the fourth chapter. It is easily the worst narration that I have ever heard. Listen to the sample, but be warned, the narration does get worse. Her English accents weren't bad, but the Australian sounded like someone doing a mocking interpretation. I can't believe this actually was released; where is the quality control?

What character would you cut from Possessing Providence?

None, the story itself is pretty solid

Any additional comments?

I hope this gets re-released with better narration to do the story justice. I definitely recommend buying the book, but it is ruined with this narrator.
