Publisher's Summary

All Zach Sheridan ever wanted was to become alpha male of his Pack and be left alone. What he definitely didn't need in his life was some needy female demanding his attention. What he never saw coming was the vicious, scarred female who not only demanded his attention but knew exactly how to get it.

Sara Morrighan knew that this was the best she could expect from her life: good friends, a nice place to live, and a safe job. But when Zach rode into her small Texas town with his motorcycle club, Sara knew that she wanted more. She knew that she wanted him.

But after one sexy encounter with her dream biker, everything is starting to change. Her body. Her strength. That new thing she's doing with the snarling. Even her best friends are starting to wonder what's going on with her. This is only the beginning, though. Sara's about to find out that her life was meant for so much more, and Zach's about to find true love with the one woman who makes him absolutely insane.

Another winner

Any additional comments?

Finally! I love all of Laurenston's books but was so thrilled to see she's finally doing her early books in audio. I was a bit disappointed that Charlotte Kane didn't narrate these as well and, while, this narrator doesn't meet Kane's ability as far as 'voices', she's still good enough that it's an enjoyable listen. Definitely would recommend.

Pack Challenge

I have been waiting for this book to come out on audible for a couple of years now. Great story. Good plot. Awesome character development. Hot romantic moments. A couple fight scenes too. A great story about removing and obstacle to allow for a life to bloom in the manner it was meant to be to begin with. Laurenston's characters are always highly entertaining and this book met that goal. The narrator did a fine job and gave each character their unique voice/accent.

Pride series is better.

I was a little distracted at the beginning of the story and it is fast paced, it took me a bit to get a handle on who was who, because like many of SL books she has a lot of characters, each with varied personalities. I do like the Pride series better by SL, this book felt rushed. The hero/heroine hardly talked to each other and then wham they sleep together and then they are in love. That's fast even for mayflies. Also it was a bit funny how all the humans growled at each other, not even knowing that Sara was a shifter. I still liked it, and I would like to read Mickey and Angie's book. I would recommend starting with Shelly Laurenston's Pride series first before reading the Magnus Pack series. Now Audible just has to get the Dragon Kin series. I did enjoy the narrator and would listen to her again if the chance arises.

Can a woman do male characters

Kasha Kensington as a narrator was okay. she needs to work on her male voices and voices for people with different ethnic backgrounds. The story itself was great.

Couldn't put it down

If you could sum up Pack Challenge in three words, what would they be?

From beginning to end this book was great...can't wait to "read" the rest of them.
Started listening to it as my day started by the time I was at work I could not turn it off...I work in a small, but popular restaurant in a collage town. We stay fairly busy during lunch, I didn't want anyone to walk in the door much less have to turn the book off... Had one earbud in all day.

So Dang Good!!!

What can you really say bad about Shelly Laurenston.... Absolutely Nothing!!! Her stories are funny, enthralling, and smexy as heck!!!

This book was pretty much the same format as her PRIDE series, gyrl and guy who don't belong together are perfect for each other because they are both equally crazy!!! Perfection... it was so good... Also... if you have read/listen to the PRIDE series, you will remember the name Magnus Pack... So... now we get to see the pack that one of the PRIDE wolves grew up in....

I loved the ending... so good.. well I loved the whole dang book... Great job Audible for finally picking this series up... On to "Go Fetch"!!!

Maggie, Maggie, Maggie!!! He's on the list!!!

Love it!!!

Great Narration... Kasha was so good...

Great buy, sale or credit...

An Enjoyable listen; but too short

I alway like Shelly’s books. They always has fun characters and are laced with humor. They also have romance with sensual heat. My only issue is that her novels are really too short, for my taste. Usually, a 10 hour book is the shortest I will buy. Otherwise, it doesn’t seem to be a good value to me. However, since this is included in the romance package, I didn’t have to make a decision on the value. I’m off to the next book in the series.

Great book. Loved the characters

I loved this book. It had a slow start but I am glad that I stuck with it. Sarah, Angelica and Mickey were hilarious. I enjoyed their banter.

Not the worst I've read. Far from the best.

The narrator did a decent enough job considering what she had to work with. Her voices were OK, and her accents weren't the worst I've heard. The story line however, was fairly dry, and entirely unoriginal. If this hadn't been included with the romance package, I'd have been bummed for wasting a credit. It seemed like the author was determined to force in as many vulgar words as possible, even when they weren't necessary, and didn't add interest to the story in any way. It was a pretty sad attempt to seem more "edgy".
