Very good
the story was very good and it kept my attention I love the narration he did a very good job of bringing to life both characters the only thing that I had a problem with it it's a small thing so don't let this stop you from listening to this book but I felt that it was just too short I like the ending I just wish it went on for a little bit longer. I feel so silly I didn't realize there's a part 2 I can't wait to read that one next

Great Story, horrible narrator
She should use Bryce Chadwell from Hostile taking. It sounds like the narrator is reading a book to a bunch of kids. No emotions, more like a robot.

SWEETNESS OVERLOAD!!!
Such a sweet story. I felt for the characters and was over emotional over how much Raiden did in expectance of his Beloved. He always knew they'd be together again, and it filled my heart with so many emotions.
I loved the narrator's soft empathetic voice. It was perfect!

Cute story, not thrilled with the narrator.
Unfortunately I have many of the same complaints as the others who purchased this book. The narrator just seemed to be very unenthusiastic and his voice monotone. I'll definitely purchase the next book but hope for a new narrator.

such a sweet merman story
This one was so cute and sweet. It's about a human falling in love with a nerman who rescued him long ago from the sea and he knew he was meant to be his and that he would be one day.I just wished it was a bit longer. I cant wait to read the next one.

WHERE IS THE MANGA?! I would totally buy it 😂
The narrators voice is pitch perfect and really dreamy, the story is great and even includes a fair amount of realism. There's clearly been time spent in marine biology books to make this feel more realistic, which is a great touch. Akira is a really Lovable character in his own right and truly deserved to be called "beloved". About the only thing that could be added was an underwater love scene but I'm hoping we get that in book 2.

Love this story
This was my first audible book so it took me a bit to get used to it but I loved reading the story so I knew I would like listening to it. This is a low angst story, perfect to start your day with a smile because the main characters are absolutely adorable <3 I didn't always love the characters "voices" but it was still enjoyable.
