Love!!

This is the prequel to the Villain (my all time favorite book). Ms Vale once again had me spellbound. There is something wonderful about her books! My only negative is I wish the story would go on forever! Well done! And Darcy Stark’s narrative is unbelievable! He’s perfect for Ms Vale’s villain. You will not be disappointed!

How the villain became The Villain

I was hoping the reason behind Adam’s motives for ruining the Fairchild family would come out and it has! This well read short story gives the background of Adam who is systematically destroying the Fairchild family on behalf of his step sister, Olivia. I usually don’t like short stories but this one is a must if you want to read The Villain and The Dove both by Victoria Vale.

Wow!!!

I loved getting the backstory for Adam. Learning about him, and how he became the man he is was an emotional roller coaster in the best way! I can't wait to read The Dove!

Great connecting story

I enjoyed listening to this book. It was a great listen on the plane to Florida. This book gives you insight into the mind of Adam “The Villian” and shows you why he hates the Fairchild family so much and why he wants vengeance. It helps answer some questions from The Dove for me. Definitely take a listen because it’s such a good connecting story and Darcy Stark is so good to listen to!

Fantastic - Highly Recommended

This is a brilliant short story - a great bridging tale between Victoria Vale's The Villain and The Dove.

This tale looks at Adam's backstory. Which means that in relation to The Villain we are able to more easily understand the reasons for his need for revenge it allows us to fully discern what compelled his overwhelming need to totally avenge himself upon the Fairchild family

So.....the story is great and the performance by Darcy Stark is exceptional - his voice is just right for Adam. Highly recommended.
