Sadie Grissom can't stand Devon Markier. He's rich, a playboy, and he just bought the vet clinic where she works when every bank in town turned her down for a loan. Devon purchased the vet clinic to get as far from his overbearing family as possible. The fact that the sexy Sadie came with the facility is a major bonus. Now if he can just convince her that being her boss doesn't make him her enemy...This hot doctor is going to prove to Sadie that love is the best medicine of all.
Sadie had trust issues. Devon was a playboy, but it seems he is a reformed one. Or does one get that title because he is rich, good looking and dates a few girls? Sadie is pleasantly surprised by Devon's dedication to his work. This story was very short, as I was listening I could see all different directions this story could have taken. For the price its worth a couple of hours of feel good.

This is a erotic love short story,
Sadie is a vet, in a building she wanted, but when the bank looked at the qualified applicants, both are equal but one male Devon and her, the bank chase the male, so there is already a bit of hurt left under the belt.
Devon is a privileged man in a small town so when he takes over a position as a vet and the half of ownership, he is captivated by the vet who will be working beside him. He soon wants to know more about the woman he cant get out of his head.
After a long day at work Sadie goes to her workplace to take a quick shower only to find her boss there first. Devon makes his move, over fajitas and margaritas they find a peaceful compromise. For Sadie to move to the next level she has to learn to get over her disappointment of not being able to fulfill her dream to be the owner of the veterinary hospital and let go of the past of being let down by past "privileged men" relationships.
As one night turns into something more, I have to be honest here, I loved the story line and characters. The book alone could have gone into more detail of the conversation between Devon's sister or father, with the hints that Devon was a player and he was going to take on another Veterinary Building. But without this information it leads me to believe that this story could have the potential to be more than a short story.
If you could sum up Good Medicine in three words, what would they be?
What other book might you compare Good Medicine to and why?
simple story of girl with inferiority complex who makes good and gets prince charming
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Actually, she may get better, as she has potential for good male voice. However, this recording sounded like she never pre read the story so the first quarter of this listen sounded very bed time story read, and I do mean read.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It is a short story and a quick good listen
