I had to stop listening to this audio because it has bad flow, badly written and the narrator keeps repeating lines and the pause between chapters is too long.

Good story
I liked the fact this book was quick to listen to and an interesting story. This was my first book by this author and a new narrator for me (Jonathan Waters) and I would be willing to listen to more by this author and narrator. I felt the story was good and the narration was good, but I was disappointed in the editing of the audio files. I feel like the outtakes were not merged in and the original take edited out, instead they were just dropped in and many sentences were repeated.

Revenge and Love
The premise of the story drew me in. Get close to the big tycoon to get revenge for shutting down your bookstore. Unfortunately, the story fizzled out for me. It was odd that certain lines would repeat itself. It would seem that there is some additional editing that needs to be done. I appreciate that this was a short story, but I still feel like there was some back story missing. A little more history into the characters would’ve done it for me, but I still enjoyed it for the quick listen that it was.

Decent story, Bad narration

A dish best served cold. I was disappointed in Becky's narrow-mindedness. She had blinders on to everything but revenge!! I was glad Connor got his chance. Twists and turns. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job.

Unusual
The story needed more depth and too predictable. Jonathan did a good job narrating it. The only problem I could see was the repeated sentences. I could tell that this was very early in his career of narration because he has some great books out.

Good story!💜
I enjoyed this story as well as the characters. Lots of chemistry. Jonathan Waters has a fantastic voice but there were a lot editing issues. This is his early work but I happen to be a huge fan of Jon Waters and I know from listening to a lot of his narration that he has become a phenomenal narrator.
This book is a standalone with an HEA.
