Not what I thought it was!

Any additional comments?

I seriously misunderstood what this book was about when I purchased it! I thought it would give me tips on being less inhibited with my husband! I really tried to stick it out and keep an open mind to see if it had any redeeming qualities. But it's basically an instruction manual on how to lead a sexually deviant "lifestyle".

Liberating

Generally to keep it short and sweet, permission to be the freak I am, how to be the freak I am while being safe for myself and others, and a great reminder that I am hardly the only freak around. It has definitely dismantled some of the shame I didn't know I still carried and cleared many of the cobwebs left over from my 1980s upbringing (basically I was raised by wolves when it comes to sexuality). I do wish there were more coverage of trans issues around sexuality, but the book was written before we really became visible to the wider world, and given the wonderful spirit of inclusion from which the book was written, I'm sure when I take a look at the website, I'll find lots of resources specialized in that direction. A lot of wonderful resources are also discussed in the book, and I look forward to exploring them.

Excellent narration, great content

Somebody please get this narrator to perform other titles similar in content! She did an amazing job. I would probably purchase just about anything she might narrate.

This book is well written and has lots of great tips to overcome shyness, both in and out of the bedroom.

Don't judge a book by its cover

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Probably nothing it is an inane listen

What was most disappointing about Carol A. Queen’s story?

there are better stories out there. This just did not pull me in.

How could the performance have been better?

If the story does not pull me in in the first hour I stop listening.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Just did not care and that is odd for me.
