Meh!

This audiobook was really not for me, but maybe for you. The premise was so ridiculous sounding that I had to give it a listen. I have to say though that Pornelope has quite the imagination. And I do have to admit that Buck J. Deat did a pretty good job narrating. I was provided this audiobook for free from AU and this is my voluntary review.

3/5

Have you ever seen something so ridiculous you can't help but check it out? Well that was me with this series. I saw book 2 and couldn't help but click on it only to realize that there was a book one as well. Resistance was futile. The premise is this - Shanna from way in the future travels back in time. But, due to a miscalculation she ends up in the age of dinosaurs which is less in the past that she wanted to go. She's the only human and rescues a dinosaur who is telepathic (all dinosaurs are telepathic) She's also empathic and can feel the energy that the dinosaurs exude during mating season leading to Timmy becoming more than a friend that she rescued and raised. This novella is only an hour long but it left me wondering what the heck I just listened to. And then promptly started the next book, because in for a penny, in for a pound.

I received this audiobook for free from Audiobooks Unleashed. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Surpisingly good

The authors actually came up with a way for a woman to have a physical and emotional relationship with a young T-Rex, which is not something that could have been easy. I'll leave it to you to either read or listen to this story yourself to find out how. The narrator of the Audible version did a good job with both the male and female voices.

Different

I got this book because I found the idea of dino porn intriguing. I hope that this book wasn't meant to be a serious one!

Taboo and Enthralling

Lol everything about this book is a bit hilarious and completely taboo. It was fun and interesting and to be honest I don’t completely know how I feel about this book. But if you’re interested in something different check it out.

Shanna and Timmy

This was an interesting book where a woman is sent back 66 million years by scientists. She rescues a baby T rex that she names Timmy. Shanna and Timmy because extremely close to where they can even communicate.

Buck Deat did a good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Needs a different narrator...

Dinos Are a Girl's Best Friend (Dinosaur Erotica: Book 1 of "50 Scales of Grey") by Pornelope and narrated by Buck J. Deat was just meh...The story itself is interesting overall, but some portions of the writing and narration were not for me (Timmy’s voice is a hard no).

What’s it about? Shanna is paid by a company to transport diamonds but is sent to the wrong time period, resulting in her finding and then caring for a baby T. Rex she names Timmy. Once Timmy is grown, they become lovers. They are able to communicate via telepathy. That about sums it up. Yes the title is right on. I’ve made it clear romance books (of any kind) are not my typical listen, so keep that in mind when reading this review.
