Great story and loved the narrator

The narrator did a great job defining the characters. Loved his voice.

Although the title suggests captivity, the reality is more "unlikely rescue". this story was very well rendered, realistic though futuristic, and very deep and believable. enjoyable, even by those with captivity triggers, as long as you love alpha males, this romance was sexy, slightly dominating, and hot as hell! the narrator did a fantastic job. I received a free copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review.

Hot sexy distopian story...yes please!

This was the first story I listened to from Natasha Knight and it won't be my last! Philip Alces was a great narrator. After I was finished I had to buy another title from this awesome duo.

Sizzling hot

Philip Alces is an amazing narrator and he made this book good for me. Normally I do not like sci fi romance. While the story for me was not captivating, Philip's performance brought the characters to life. Olivia, a trained soldier, is shot down during her last training mission. She is found by Hayden, who takes her in and keeps her as his own. He shows her how for her entire life she has been brainwashed. Now she realizes that she can feel emotions, have children and live free. The catch is that her twin sister is still in the domed city and Olivia wants to save her before Hayden and the Resistance bomb the city. Will they get to Katy in time? I won't tell. I can say that this book has some hot scenes in it and if you enjoy an alpha male, Hayden is your man!

Captive's Desire is a very story in which a futuristic Earth provides a nice setting for an exciting capture fantasy. The domed cities of Magnus One and Two control and manipulate their citizens, and Olivia has been led to believe people living outside the dome are savages to be destroyed and the air is poisonous to her.

Not one of her best

I found the story kind of cheesy. The dominance and controlling spankings were not sexy in this book. In some of her other books it is hot. The worst part was the narrators female voice. It was so whiny and brainless, it made me cringe. His male voice is very nice, and in other books he narrates, the female voice is perfectly fine. Loved Salvatore and Retribution. Check those out.

Excellent Narration!

It took me a while to get used to Philip Alces narration, but once I got into the rhythm, it was excellent. He is very expressive and you can tell the different characters very easily. I really enjoyed this and I'll look for other books he has narrated.

Of course, the book is by Natasha Knight and I love her books! This is no exception. I own several of her audible books and I think, all of her written ones. I highly recommend her!

A fun romp

Characters were likeable enough and although the premise of the captive enjoying corporal punishment & a sexual relationship so quickly was unrealistic or underdeveloped, overall I enjoyed the book as a fun distraction.
