Delicious Fantasy

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I love Joey W. Hill's books, mostly her vampire series, but this was a very enjoyable audio escape for me. Her character depictions are intimate and layered, and the two mains have a believable connection. The board room setting is sexy (as are the secondary characters!), though the elaborate contraption our heroine is strapped to seems a bit over the top. Board Resolution is the stuff of fantasies, and it does not disappoint.

What other book might you compare Board Resolution to and why?

No one write like Joey W. Hill, but perhaps The Siren by Tiffany Reisz is comparable. Another favorite series for me.

What about G.C. VonCloudts’s performance did you like?

She is terrific! At the end of the book, the narrator runs through the credits. She mentioned that Susie Bright, sex guru, is a producer of the audio book. With her expertise, I am not surprised such a talented narrator was hired for this title. I look forward to more books narrated by G.C. VonCloudt.

Imagine opening yourself up yo a!low some on to dominate you. You willingly submit because instinctively you know that they openly want to bring you pleasure and will never harm you.

Joey W. Hill is top notch in BDSM Erotica

The Knights of the Boardroom series is a riveting story-line of the K&H board members and their submissives. Jeoy W. Hill truly drives a nail through the whole premise of why we do what we do. There are very few other authors who can illicit the sounds, smells, and ambiance of the character locations. It isn't so much the how, but the why. You feel on both sides of the D/S slash and she gets it. I could pick any book in her collection and it would be the same. Besides story of O, and the The Sleeping Beauty Trilogy, just start one of her series and go with it. If you felt let down by the whole 50 Shades hysteria, you have come to the right place. I have to say her narrators G.C. VonCloudts, and Maxine Mitchell have spoiled me. Their voices make it hard to hear other readers the same way without that discerning ear. Yup Joey has spoiled me rotten and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Very exciting to listen to. The narration was excellent. I felt every emotion conveyed in the story and was portrayed with expert delivery.

On the fence here....

This 6 chapter, 5 hour book is a very long smex scene... inside a board room between the two main characters (Savanna and Matthew) and Matthew's four business partners... Seriously!

I mean, it started out sooo good... I really liked Savanna and Matt's dynamics... their sexual conflict as both were powerful business tycoons. Their board meetings was like mental smex, as Savanna describes it.

Matthew plans this crazy smex scene of dom and submission in the board room for Savanna, which was going pretty good, until the other four men arrive. I was like WTF?

The story kinda got long, drawn out and boring after that. I actually skipped like 3 chapters just to get to the end to see what was going to happen between Savanna and Matt.

Then the end felt a little rushed... but, the whole story was erotic fantasy, so I knew there wasn't a grand story line here...but...still... eh!

I would recommend this for one of those purely erotic itching moments...(us romance reader/listeners get...)

Because the book is so cheap, I would just buy or sale... Save your credit for something more expensive with at least a plot line.

The Narration, however, was pretty darn good... I wish VonCloudts would narrate some paranormal romance... :)

OMG Yes!

Hot, naughty, oh soooo naughty. Enhanced by beautiful narration, this is a steaming, forbidden journey to a happy ending. The length Matt goes to, the steps he takes, all to prove to Savannah that she is the perfect woman, the only woman for him and that he is her destiny are unbelievable perfection. Make no mistake, this is a forbidden, very naughty story. It was so good that as soon as I finished it, I listened to the entire audiobook again. I can’t wait to experience the entire series.

great story

I must say , I accidentally read the 4th book before I read the 1st book, but I think because I did that it gave me more understanding for this book. I loved the format of this book and how the story progressed. The whole story takes place in one room basically BUT is still progresses the relationship between the two main characters through flash backs.

Well it's different...

I have to admit this one has some new ideas. I can also agree that it's got some pretty hot scenes. I just don't know if I'd want to use a credit on this one. A sale would be a better deal. In my reviews I don't think it's necessary to tell about the story. I'm sure you have read the summary. I do tell if I "get into" a story and if I enjoy it. I enjoyed the sexual situation somewhat in this book but it didn't really come through emotionally. The books I love are emotionally and sexually charged. Sadly this one didn't make it for me.

Joey W Hill is one of my favorite authors so I was delighted to learn that her books were coming out in audio. I would recommend any Joey book to erotic romance readers who enjoy reading story lines with BDSM themes.

This particular book is the start of one of Joey's very popular series, Knights of the Boardroom. It tells the story of Savannah, the CEO of a manufacturing company and Matt (and his leadership team), her business partner and CEO of Kensington Industries. Matt is determined to get Savannah to accept that he is the one for her and he uses all the talents and skills his team has available to press the point home one very eventful night.

What about G.C. VonCloudts’s performance did you like?

G.C VonCloudts did a wonderful job. Her interpretation helped me reinterpret some scenes that had bothered me when I first read the book. I will be more inclined to buy an audio book if she is the narrator for it.

convoluted

very convoluted, confusing idea of love but I love the author and dysfunction so I loved it. Have a very open mind when reading/ listening to this book, not for the faint of heart or squeamish.
