Wow!

So dark but had me on the edge of my seat!! Now going in for book 2! Can't imagine how we move on! Definitely twisted!

WOW!

I was not expecting this AT ALL!
The story is great! it held my attention from beginning to end. A little too much sex for my taste. especially the rape and other messed up stuff. But I understand that we needed to understand the main character. THAT ENDING THOUGH!!! Hats off the author! what a book!

It's a dark twisted world of perverts and psychos that traps Elizabeth and pike. their torture becomes our torture, their pain -our pain, but there is salvation?
for me as a reader, there's none .
The story not only gets under your skin, it seeps into your soul.
i cried my heart out for Elizabeth and declan and pike and Bennet.
What a brilliant awesome story.the narration is so taut and aggressive that I finished the book in one sitting!
only two other books have made me sob so hard.
A MUST MUST read. awesome job e.k.blair.
I am your fan for life.

My head is spinning right now!!!

I'm so up in the air over this one.
E.K. Blair's style of writing is so gritty, descriptive, and reality based it's sometimes a hard pill to swallow.
Ordinarily this is what I love most about her book's but this one has so much brutally traumatic child abuse it caused a sickening reaction from me.

This author's writing is so mesmerizing it's sure to draw extreme reactions from her listeners.
For me mainly a lot of anxiety and that I can handle but this??
Now I'm really torn because other than the extreme abuse scenes I really liked this book.
Of course it doesn't help that it ended with a cliffhanger.
So now I'm dieing to Know what happens next.
But before I can move on in the series I have to listen to some HEA fluff in between or I'm going to need a prescription of antidepressants lol.

Elena Wolfe always does such a great job! She's​ the main reason I gave this book a chance in the first place.
So the big question is?? is it worth a credit?
I have to say yes!! it really is a good well written book.
I just couldn't listen to it straight through.

At times the narrator's voice was a little too softcore porn ish, but overall an entertaining listen.

Don't waste your time, the ending is stupid

If you don't care that the whole series is ruined by the ending, go ahead and listen to the books. You are going to feel cheated and complain at the end of the series. spoiler everybody is dead in the end.

That. was. intense.

I want to give this entire series 5 stars but it was so messed up and ends ridiculously. Read (or listen) at your own risk. There's a lot of unconsensual sex and scenes that actually made me nauseous throughout the three books.

Amazing! 5+ stars!

Amazing book. A must read that will stay with you. I could not put this book down once I started it. It's a dark story with unseen horror of what an abused child in the foster care system that is forgotten by everyone goes through and what that childhood does to her and how if affects every aspect of the person she grows up to be. Highly recommended!

Uhm, did that just happen?

First of all, if you love drama but hate dark erotic books then you STILL have to either read or listen to this book. I listened with eyes WIDE open for almost the WHOLE book. And IDC who you are, everyone has lied about something in their life and nearly shit a brick waiting for the collapse. For that reason, this book was AMAZING! The audio performance was great too. But the skill it took to write this book had me posting stuff on FB, dude! Seriously, this book was GOOOOOOD!
