Great Idea, Execution not Erotic

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Maybe it's a guy thing??? (Not for the faint of heart or those who like vanilla sex.)

What was most disappointing about D. C. James’s story?

The sex was flat & boring. Descriptions became repetitive & weren't exciting.

What three words best describe Matthew Finch’s performance?

Reader was fine. No complaints there.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disaapointment - This could've been a great story, some of the ideas for how the sex worked were fantastic but the feel of the wording didn't live up to expectations.
Description of the tentacle tube over the penis was very imaginative & cool to start with but the orgasm description was 'oh I had an orgasm & it went on & on' & sort of repeated that over & over. At the end it got really gross w/descriptions of these inner feelers/projections of tentacle sinking into the penis - just sounded extremely painful & not erotic!
Tentacles having suction ends used on the nipples was an obvious given but wasn't used until almost the end of the story! It should've been part of the foreplay!
The anal sex had so much potential but was basically only described as getting slammed into over & over, again, boring.

Any additional comments?

The whole premise of the story & the way the story ended was confusing & didn't make a lot of sense either. And, yes, obviously, I didn't get this title for the 'story' but it's so much nicer when the story at least makes some sense. I'd be more forgiving of that part if the sex was done well. I'd also listened to "Getting to Know Daddy" by same author & though it had almost no sex in it, it had a well thought out & written story, so I expected this story would be better. "An Offering of Flesh" had more sex but more is not always better. Both were let-downs. At least it wasn't expensive!
