Publisher's summary

Alareik is a Cupid, and get that image of a diapered baby with a bow and arrow right out of your head. Cupids are all six-foot gods of love, invisible to the mortal's eyes, who are sent down to Earth with their daily assignments...to help mortals fall in love.

Alareik is the most popular Cupid out there, and not only is he the hottest Cupid but he's the most compassionate. Alareik stumbles across a mortal who has a third eye. Sapphire, a waitress no one would take a second glance at, can see the invisible Cupids. Alareik has never met a mortal who could do this. He's put on a special assignment to figure her out.

Alareik willingly accepts this task and finds himself falling for the plain and peculiar girl. Sapphire's love for life changes this Cupid's heart forever.

WHAT HAPPENED?

I loved the over all story but there are many questions left at the end. If they were meant to be, how is this fixed? Did Ahn and the Planner have a deal? What punishment did Alethea get for going to earth? Was Alethea sexual attack a plan to make Sapphire jealous only or did it give or take away powers? How could the Stone not see what was going to happen? What happened to the other Mythicals involved with helping Sapphire? Why did the Planners change her name? Why does her eyes change colours? Why does Emerald want to keep Alareik as a pet? Will any questions be answered?

Cupid with a twist

What made the experience of listening to Alareik the most enjoyable?

I want to say the narrator because oh my gosh he just brought this story to life.

What did you like best about this story?

It is not like any cupid book I have ever read or listened to. We get so many different characters and the action was spot on.

Which scene was your favorite?

The scene with the leprechaun

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

For the most part I was laughing out loud.

Any additional comments?

Very unique story and I truly enjoyed listening to it. The narrator did a great job with every character which is always a plus.

Too Far Fetch

Best fantasy adds a base reality to make the reader see the story while listening or reading... this story is just silly.
