Absolutely Brilliant

This was extremely well researched and presented informatively. I appreciate the way this book presented facts and interviews with those involved. More like this please!

Fantastic

Superbly done. This touched me and brought me back to all parts of this that played out for me my whole adult life. Superb writing. Outstanding narration. I will listen to anything Leon does. Thank you thank you thank you. You filled in all the gaps in what I knew and touched me in many ways. I am a better person for listening to this.

Informative

Information is key. COVID also reminded me of the aids crisis, and while I was young I understood what was happening. Thank you

Excellent

I was born in 1957, so I lived through all of this. But there was so much I had forgotten, or I had never known. The Fiasco producers have done a wonderful job of looking back at this era, from the perspective of 40 years (and one pandemic) later. I can’t recommend this enough.

wish it was longer

I wish it had touched on the quilt and all of the talented people who died young and didn't receive the respect they deserved because they were gay or had drug problems. And 40 years later people are still getting infected because the government would rather foot the bill for medicines than pay for an ounce of prevention. It was wonderful, my first podcast but not my last.

A Must Read/Listen

Moving, informative, emotional, sad, humbling, and grounding. A beautifully put together series that should be listened to by everyone, to not only learn the history of this epidemic, but be reminded of its still existence, of our fragility as species, and of our limitations and flaws as humans in society and current civilization.

Thank You

I was a new teen when I first heard about AIDS and like everyone else, didn't understand it for many years. I am ashamed to say that at the time I was too young and too selfish to care. I understood the severity, but not the humanity of it. I am so sorry for that. Thank you for teaching me to understand what happened and what is still happening now.
