  • Summary

  • Some countries have fallen into a toxic cycle of tit-for-tat prosecutions, where every ex-president has to expect they’ll eventually end up behind bars. Could the U.S. be next? Considering the consequences

Though I still believe no person should be above the law, Bergen’s interview better informed me of how the law might be correctly applied, yet damage the very bedrock of democracy. Which helped me rethink on which issues a former president should be held accountable. I appreciate the insight and thoroughness of the discussion. Tracy R Hodson

Not 2 minutes in, quoting Trump out of context

Professional journalism is dead. We have professional prostitution. These are actors, public relations hacks, and propagandists, not journalists, Very sad.

Bergen's delivery is very smooth. His voice conveys the gravitas of a senior journalist as well as any TV actor at least. Honest people will find it difficult not to loathe this specimen of "fake news," this swindling, double-talking political mouthpiece. Sad. He was probably good once.
