  • Summary

  • When Lacy Crawford published a memoir about being sexually assaulted as a student at St. Paul’s School, she hoped it would spark change on campus. What she never could have imagined was that it would lead to an apology from the board of St. Paul’s - or that the apology would fall apart shortly after it was delivered.

St. Paul’s is an accessory after the fact

And, consequently, aided & abetted future crimes by condoning & enabling criminals to escape punishment!

It baffles me that schools are permitted to be their own police & intervene when predatory students harm other students. Time & again, the schools’ S.O.P. favors the abuser & further traumatizes the victim in order to hush the matter entirely.

Crimes are not trivial problems to be swept under the rug, & trying to conceal them is illogic:
1. They’re creating monsters who may come
back to prey on them
2. Child victims grow up, grow wise, & go
after justice
3. It’s criminal to aid criminals
4. It’s better to have a reputation for ridding
the world of predators

After hearing so many of these horrifying assaults, it seems the only immediate answer for dealing with them is:
Take the school out of the equation & go to the E.R. & police, & allow them to collect any & all evidence to nail the criminals…
Same as if you were assaulted Anywhere else!
