Episode 21

I love to listen to audio books especially during the summer since I'm a laborer and have lots of time to listen while I'm doing various things. The books I'm most excited to listen to Stan Lee's Alliances: A Trick of Light, Bad Blood and With the Fire on High.

Some Interesting Options

This was actually pretty good. The editors start off by mentioning a posthumously published work by Stan Lee coming out, touch upon a new audio edition for "The Hunger Games", and discuss how sometimes readers re-listen old favorites once a year, like "Eat, Pray, Love".

I thought the conversation about the merits of the audio performance for "Red, White & Royal Blue" was especially helpful--I'll have to check that one out! I also highly recommend people read/listen to "The Goldfinch" by Donna Tartt before seeing the upcoming movie. It is depressing but nonetheless really good.

At 48min long, this could be a nice free podcast listen if you are unsure what to read next.
