Publisher's summary

[Contains explicit content] Why do so many straight readers love gay Romance? This week, Faith looks for some answers with a little help from author Damon Suede. Damon talks about researching his debut novel Hot Head on ride-alongs with the FDNY, why he loves Jane Austen, and what it means to “write like a guy."

Very insightful

Long time romance reader, new-ish to gay romance. Recently read/listened to Hot Head, which I had had mixed feelings about, and really enjoyed hearing author DS’s explanation of that book’s origin story, his decision to write romance, & his analysis of readers. Was impressed by his professionalism. As a listener, I could hear that he respects both romance & the value of sex and, well, it was joyous to hear him talk in such a positive way about both.

The interview hit on good topics & the audio was well edited. I usually listen to fiction or science but I’ll be listening to this again.
