Do yourself a favor- Listen!
Some information I already knew, some I didn't, but even the things I already knew about took on a new dimension. With each episode my understanding was enhanced, not because of the information alone, but also by the richness of the delivery of the information.

Tired
I would enjoy hearing about black Edwadians without the 'woke' tone that pervades this episode. All it does is widen the gap between people, rather than encouraging equality. As someone of mixed race I find it insulting to hear of the accomplishments of black people constantly followed by how white racism robbed them. I'm sure they wouldn't want their stories told that way.

Loved it!
A wonderful series of peeking in the eccentric and curious Edwardian Era with the added humour of Stephen Fry. Edward VII, Fray Bentos and Cheddar Gorge a highlight for me. Loved the Victorian series too. Georgian next please and keep them coming!! Splendid presentation thank you.

Woked
Predictably this is not so much an honest delve into British history as a delivery channel for modern obsessions around race and gender. Had to stop listening after a while.
