like...you know...like...I mean...like...

I mean you know, for like helpful reviews or critiques of sci-fi novels, like try the book covers and publisher's summaries you know. Like, a little I mean planning, preparation, you know and format would like help you know. I mean please like put some more thought you know into it and drop like I mean all the references to movies.

Frustrating to listen to

The audio quality is fine. I understand some folks wouldn't like the uneven audio levels.
The frustrating part for me is the lack of professional speaking. I feel like I'm listening to 13 year olds giggling all the time (based on episode 3), with a teacher trying to moderate and keep things moving correctly.
I sympathize with trying to come up with quality content during COVID and delivering something that covers a broad age group. It must take alot of work.
And I really like the idea of the series.
But if the two reviewers can't manage to speak a full sentence then it's just not worth listening too. The moderator did a superb job corraling cats.

Disappointed

I agree with the other reviews for this addicted to Sci-Fi. I feel like I'm listening to a group of teenagers. I have been reading fantasy and sci-fi for 45 years. I don't need to listen to a bunch of "he, he", "giggle, giiggle". I don't want to sound mean, but I thought these reviews were for adults! Who is the audience buying Sci-Fi books? I assumed it was mostly adults. Sorry!
