It's getting better.

I took a chance on this because the price was good and I needed something new to listen to while working on papers. I've waited to start reviewing these chapters (really wish it were all in one rather than separated like this) until I'd gotten a few into it so I could get an appropriate feel for the story. It's different. Not quite a "cold case files" type story, but not too far off. The first couple of chapters are a bit dry, but I highly recommend you hang in there as the story gets better as you go. Well done to the creators.

Story building

The second episode is actually quite a bit better than the first. The plot is starting to develop and the overall story is starting to get a lot more interesting. Other reviews that are swearing off the series I feel didn't really give it a chance and entered with preconceived notions. It almost reminds me of a "True Crime" mixed with some kind of investigative horror/thriller genre blend.

Had great promise but failed

This had great promise to be an interesting story, but failed miserably. I even had problems getting 2 of the episodes to play. For all the references to movies like Sixth Sense and Wizard of Oz, this story wasn't even on the same playing field as those movies.

Disappointed

While the story itself was a 4 star & very intriguing, the delivery by the “actors” was very amateurish. Sounded very much like they were reading from a script. Repetition of the “I can’t hear you” voice mail every 2-3 minutes was too much. I quit half way thru the second episode. This was bad.

Just getting worse

So I'm supposed to believe that cops are so bad at their jobs as they yell out evidence they find, that this podcaster is able to hack a computer at the hearing doctor, and then there is a bad plot twist at the very end of the chapter. Horrible writing. If Ana was a real person than she is really lucky being deaf, and dead.
