*After 144 magical episodes, we decided to change our name to better show that we stand with the trans community. We are unable to change our name within those episodes, but will be using For Fawkes’ Sake starting at episode 145 and going forward! New name, same magical Harry Potter compare and contrast!*

Join Ellen and Keighty as we continue with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, covering the first half of Chapter Four (Number Twelve, Grimmauld Place) and the corresponding film scenes.

While we love Harry Potter, we do not condone or agree with its creator’s ignorant opinions. We stand with the trans community.

We post weekly podcast episodes comparing and contrasting the Harry Potter books to the movies, Potter Ponderings, a weekly trivia question (that can win you a sticker!), Sorting Hat Stories, and other Harry Potter related fun! Please subscribe and join us as we delve into our favorite book series and the films that brought them to life.

Yes Harry's points were valid, but he also never would have made it as far as he had at this point in his life without his friends.

Also did we not all read and/or hear Voldemort mention the charm about Harry being safe while at his Aunt's house in the last book and/or movie? If that is indeed the case, why does Harry still not understand why he gets stuck there? Maybe he just wasn't paying attention.

I think the reason why the movies had Harry less angry was to make him more likeable. Ron and Hermione absolutely did the right thing by not putting anything about the order in writing. Harry's not an idiot. He should have accepted that. But yeah, hormones, irrational teenager, blah blah.

My Potter Pondering... I would stay one night in the murder house with this group over staying one week at Privet Drive with the Dursleys. Alone, I'd stay at Privet Drive.

Another great episode
