*After 144 magical episodes, we decided to change our name to better show that we stand with the trans community. We are unable to change our name within those episodes, but will be using For Fawkes’ Sake starting at episode 145 and going forward! New name, same magical Harry Potter compare and contrast!*

Join Ellen and Keighty as we discuss Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, covering Chapter Thirty-Six (The Parting of Ways) and the corresponding film scenes.

While we love Harry Potter, we do not condone or agree with its creator’s ignorant opinions. We stand with the trans community.

We post weekly podcast episodes comparing and contrasting the Harry Potter books to the movies, Potter Ponderings, a weekly trivia question (that can win you a sticker!), Sorting Hat Stories, and other Harry Potter related fun! Please subscribe and join us as we delve into our favorite book series and the films that brought them to life.

I hated how little a role Sirius played in this movie. He was a HUGE support system for Harry throughout the book, and he plays a large roll in the plot of the next book and movie. So he ends up feeling more random and less important in the next movie, especially since he wasn't included in that movie as much as he should have been either. Hearing and seeing Dumbledore's response to Harry's experience in the graveyard was huge and helped to explain so much in this book and future books, so it was really dumb that it was left out. Dumbledore is definitely not portrayed as well in the movies as on the books, especially not this movie.

Siriusly, no Sirius?
