An ROTP graduate from the University of Winnipeg, Sandra joined the Canadian Forces as a Logistics officer before transferring to the Infantry when it first opened to women. Sandra has shared her experiences through her 2017 memoir, Out Standing in the Field. In this episode she talks about how she’s giving back to the women veteran community through her retreat, The Pepper Pod.
