Publisher's summary

Entriss Online was Ian's life: by day, as one of their lead developers; by night, gaming as the accomplished Mandorf the Wizard.

Now, they are shutting down the game, and Ian has no way to stop them. After years of leveling up, both professionally and personally, everything he has worked for is going to end. His goggles-and-gloves virtual reality MMORPG is being replaced with Everyworld Online, a next-gen game that provided full immersion so players can experience a world that looks and feels real.

After stumbling on an unknown quest that kills anyone who approaches, Ian discovers an enormous amount of orphaned code that had never made it into the game. Moments before being fired, he checks in the code, enabling The Left Hand of God quest chain, an unexpected world event, and the frightening reality of a fully immersive Entriss Online.

If you enjoy VR LitRPG fantasies with a unique premise, surprising twists, and some good laughs, you'll love Entriss Online. Includes a special note from the author.

Captivating immersive LitRPG tale!

There are some LitRPG books that are so number heavy that they miss the whole concept of a book - which is to share a story! This was the perfect balance with an amazing story, which is the first in a series that is beautifully woven together. Hints of the other worlds are sprinkled along the way to entice you to pick up the others. I can't wait for the next book!

Now, for the audio performance. This was an amazing job by this gentleman! He tracks so many different characters with perfect accents to where you can keep them all separate in your mind. So well done!

A Great Litrpg

I usually don’t dive into books with so few reviews, but after looking for the “one” for hours, I decided to give this one a go.

In the beginning, it started with the sample for this book with the boss fight in the cave, which in my opinion is never good for a sample. Grievances aside, after that the book picks up nicely with good pacing. Scenes are described in a way that flows and the characters don’t feel 2D. Which is good enough for me.

The narration by Alex Knox was excellent for this book, while I haven’t heard any other titles he had narrated, I feel it’s safe to say he definitely knows what he’s doing. Good range of voices and intonations.

The story is a good example of the hero's journey, except this one, has a lot more personal struggles than your average hero’s journey. As for plot holes, I’ve never been good at that kind of thing, but I didn’t hear anything obvious.

In conclusion, this is a solid read worth your time and credit. If you are on the fence and are getting ready to move on, don’t, give it an hour. Return it if you hate it, keep it if you love it.

That is all

Can't do it

Just can't deal with this whiney secondary character that the author just had to add into the story. Like many other Litrpg's , they try to shoehorn in this teenage romance garbage, that totally takes the focus away from the main story. Half of this book is dealing with this unbelievable face palming garbage.
