I love this audiobooks.

I love his audiobooks. Daily Self Discipline is a short, concise, easy to listen to a gem. He packs this audiobook with helpful ideas on how we can monitor and control ourselves. After listening to Daily Discipline, I finally feel I stand a much better chance of getting some of these self-defeating habits under control to start achieving my goals (if I follow his suggestions). Inspiring.

Well explained.

They gave me a lot of great points. I'd say you'd have to have a good sense of self in order to really appreciate what the authors are saying. But if not, then their tip to cut yourself a break and not be too hard on yourself is one to start with.

Practical,listenable

I found this audio book to be very listenable and, unlike many audio books on communication skills, it is born out of real life experience in teaching thousands of couples. It is not a bunch of theoretical concepts but is practical and applicable immediately. A good listen, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their relationships.

Small audio book with a workable plan that works

A gem of a little self-improvement audio book. I love it when each sentence is one I can take in - instead of raking my brain trying to figure out what the author means. if we follow the plan through, of course. It works! I tried it! The language is warm, alive, and unique. Well done!

Great audio book!

I am basically a bit of a shy person, sort of the observant type than a talker. I picked up a lot of techniques to try on my future conversations with friends. Immediately I tried the free word association and made 14 associations the first time.

If you are struggling to connect with people

This is a good audio book for people who are not good at connecting and understanding people.Author gives great insight on how to better yourself as a person, and how to deal with people in any situation. Chapter 1 resonate with me the most because I need to take the initiative and talk to people, instead on waiting on people to come up to talk to me.
