The kingdom of Edasvale is built on the backs of its mightiest warriors. Magic is rare here, seen to be solely the dominion of women and practiced mostly by the queen. Prince Aron, second born to the king, is viewed by his peers as inferior due to his gifts being dragonborn has given him. He has had a hard life as a pawn of his father, spurned and mistreated because of his nature. After securing a position as Prince Aron’s apprentice when her father won a favor from King Dunleigh of Edasvale, Zurie of Janessa, a commoner and dancer, commences to learn the uncommon art of magic. As time goes by, her heart begins to open up to the seemingly arrogant prince and she falls in love. However, Prince Aron is a difficult man to read. Will he open himself to Zurie and allow love in? Or will he deny himself the succor of her affection?
