The Most Comprehensive Book On Empaths

Empath Made Easy was an excellent listen. This audiobook explains pretty much everything. I've spent my life feeling and absorbing the energies around me and I do ask myself if this is a gift or something other than. As the author said, it's both. I'm an artist and oftentimes that's my outlet. I think being an empath is something a person is born with or born into. If a person questions whether this is their path then this audiobook will help you know. This book will teach you about yourself as well as how to protect yourself. Empaths absolutely have to de-stress. I would definitely recommend this audiobook as it's likely the most comprehensive one I've listened to on this subject.

Tom Sarisky's narration was perfect. He spoke clearly and was easy to understand. He was engaged and present which made for an even nicer listen.

Very Informative

I found this book to be very informative. The mind is such an undiscovered area of our brain and there is so much more that people can do with it if they just searched within themselves. Michael Wilkinson gives us insight as to how to begin that search and what to do.

An Excellent Source for Empaths!

This is a wonderful book for empaths. I have known for quite a few years that I'm an empath however with the internet I have learned that I am an intuitive and geomantic empath. Before I learned what I was I had managed to figure out some ways of protection and dealing with the overflow of emotions around me. I wish I had had this book years ago. It would have made my life a whole lot easier. There are things which empaths do without realizing to help protect ourselves and to deal with all that is going on around us. Like, not watching genres of movies or TV shows that upset us. Also, every empath will learn their own way of protecting or releasing the build up, even if they don't realize it. This book helps those who need to learn what they are as well as those who need to learn how to balance their own welfare. I highly recommend this book to anyone who might think they are empathic. It will guide you on the road you need to take to become a more balance and happy person.

The narration is done well. The only complaint I might have is for Tom Sarisky to slow down just a touch and to maybe not have such a long pause in between chapters. That doesn't mean it wasn't an enjoyable listen. He has a nice, clean and clear voice that makes it easy to understand him.

Empathic

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be an empathy? Not sure I would say this was easy, but I would say it explains a lot. I myself am not an Empathic. I have had friends who fit the description. There is a heavy burden that goes with this gift. I have often thought of this person as bipolar or manic depressive. I played this twice. The reason being, I wanted to get the full meaning. I, myself do not think I am strong enough. How to thrive in a chaotic would by using these tactics, seems hard to me. This book suggests tactics to help you develop the gift by mastering your personality and using "simple" psychological strategies. I believe it's worth it to try. I received this audiobook in exchange for my honest review.

A good primer for people who struggle with Empathy

OK, not what I was expecting... while I am familiar with the concept of empathy , I some how never thought of being an Empath (IE Star Trek's Deanna Troy!) In any case the author makes a good case for both . The book includes good solid descriptions of what it means to be an empath including both the pros and drawbacks. How ever, I felt a little out of my depth when the author mentioned Reki Healing, Aroma therapy, smudging and the use of crystals. Tom Sarisky, did a good job with his narration keeping me engaged and interested. I want to thank the author for providing me with this audio book for review and I thoroughly enjoyed the sneak peek into his next book.

Worth checking out

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

My wife has always come across as a very empathic person and I have always felt that I am about as empathic as a stone. I've always had a terrible time expressing emotion and often miss queues many others naturally pick up on. I decided to pick this book up to try and better understand what my wife goes through and see if I could find ways to be more empathic. After listening to this book, I do feel like I understand what an empath is a little better. A lot of what was said seemed to resonate with how my wife reacts to things. The narration is done well and kept my attention throughout. I'm still not sure that I'm more empathic, but I would still recommend this book to others like me who seek to understand their more emotive and empathic family and friends.

Very well done

Was impressed with how much information was packed into a short listen. Showing how to tell if you are empathic and how to hone those skills. The Narrator did a great job of keeping you engaged. I received a free copy of this audio in return for an unbiased review.

Enlightening and enriching.

For people that struggle such as myself I really found this book to not only teach empathy but to show empathy to the reader as well.

Everything from the easy flow of chapters to the performance of the narrator made this for an easily digestible piece.

I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to self improve.

5 stars all around.
