Publisher's Summary

Do you wonder why people less smart than you are making career faster than you? Do you want to learn how to manage more people with less effort? Do you want to discover how to guide people in the right direction by recognizing their emotions?

Then keep on reading....

A recent study in Career Builder shows that 71 percent of the hiring managers said that for them, an employee's emotional intelligence, also known as EQ, is more important than their IQ. And 75 percent even said they were more likely to promote a high-EQ employee.

Since it was first labeled by professor Daniel Goleman in his 1995 best seller, Emotional Intelligence, more and more evidence has been found that your EQ has a bigger influence on your success as a leader than your IQ.

Controlling your own emotions, recognizing the emotions of others, and leading those emotions in line with the common department and company goals is an essential skill in modern-day leadership.

And luckily, it's a skill that can be acquired without months of studying.

In Emotional Intelligence for Leadership you will discover:

  • How to recognize emotions from other people and build better relationships
  • How manage your own emotions, so you can make the decision based on logic, to align your decision-making with your goals
  • How to use your voice to express the desired emotion to influence people and get back the positive spirit in your team
  • Recognize emotions by looking to the nonverbal facial expression - use this in your next negotiation
  • How to leverage positive emotions in people to increase their productivity and happiness
  • How to avoid complaining and mockery within your workforce
  • How to deal with the biggest enemy for productivity of your team
  • How to turn jealousy into something positive and productive
  • And much, much more

Even if you have the empathy of a robot regarding other people's feelings, the everyday examples from the office floor will give you the tools to recognize and react to those emotions as a successful leader.

Maybe you are doubting if listening to a book about emotional intelligence can help you in your busy life as a modern-day leader. That's why a big part of this audiobook is dedicated to the unique four week emotional intelligence booster program.

This program is especially developed to raise your EQ as a leader. Besides raising your self-awareness and getting more fruitful relationships, it will also prepare your long-desired promotion.

It's time to sharpen the most essential leadership skill: emotional intelligence.

Omg

I've done a good amount of emotional intelligence work and let me tell you nothing in here is good advice. It's as far away from good as anything can get.

This is a warning to audible listeners, there are people who have jumped on audible to make money. They quickly put together books, often copying from other legitimate authors, then post a bunch of fake reviews to make their books rank. They have no business in writing about the subject or topic because they have no real world or academic experience in it, in fact they don't even have a college education. They simply copy content from authors who are doing well or write about ideas that are so simple as to be common sense!

And this is one of those books, you can tell because all of the positive reviews were by people who reviewed other similar books.

Save your money and do not buy this book and do not support opportunists cheating other authors and the review system to make $
