Publisher's Summary

Discover and learn the ancient power of emotional intelligence and anger management.

The only kind of intelligence you need to succeed in today’s world. Several research studies have confirmed that emotional quotient or emotional intelligence supersedes intelligence quotient when it comes to succeeding at work, relationships, and life in general. It’s a skill worth acquiring if you want to ace life and not simply survive.

Other forms of intelligence may help you survive. However, emotional intelligence will help you conquer! I have combined this with the book anger management so you can get the most out of taking control of your life.

Here is a preview of what you'll learn:

In Book One: Emotional Intelligence Mastery: Discover How to Take Charge of Your Emotions, Depression, Anxiety, Improve Social Skills & Boost Your EQ

  • What is emotional intelligence?
  • Elements of EQ.
  • Boosting self-awareness.
  • Identifying your own emotions.
  • Controlling emotions.
  • Social skills.
  •  How to manage emotions of other people.
  • Increasing Self-Esteem.

In Book Two: Anger Management: Learn Cutting Edge Anger Management Strategies for Every Day Situations, Take Back Control of Your Life

  •  The signs and symptoms associated to anger.
  • The hard costs brought about by anger.

Personally I think this book is great

Personally I think this book is great. A lot of reviews here are listening that it doesn't give you step by step instructions on how to improve emotional intelligence. I don't think step by step instructions should be applied when dealing with emotional intelligence. It does give you an idea of how to look inward at your own responses and how to gauge where you stand with your emotions. From there, step by step instructions will need to be developed YOU!

Easy to listen

I first heard J.D. Bolouri speak on the subject of emotional intelligence mastery. I was so intrigued by how this concept could help me engage with others in my family and business, I listen up the book. Easy to listen , but packed with application. What I am left with is a masterpiece of marked practices that as I grow will empower me to be less stressed, more in control of my own thoughts and feelings, and better relation ally with my family, friends, and business associates!

Short and simple

If you closely listen and understand what this book talks about, I mean listen it over and over, you will begin to realize an amazing cause and effect system that is ever-present around you that NO ONE ever told you about. Listening it just once can change your life, keeping it forever in your mind will change your life in school, at work, in your social and romantic relationships, and even driving down the road in bottleneck traffic. Everyone needs to listen it.

Excellent book

Excellent book on the softer skills that many of us technical people haven't developed. The book introduces you to these skills, explains why they are useful and provides instruction on how to develop them. This book is a must for the average technician or professional that wants to progress up the ladder of success or learn how to connect with people better. Hell, it helped me understand how to communicate and connect with my spouse much better, as well!Leaving an honest review in exchange for a free book.

Improve Your Life All Around

It's amazing how emotional intelligence affects so many parts of my life from tolerance to change to trusting myself and others - and from assertiveness to managing my time. I especially like that this book helps me see how to do it, not just tells me what it is. I'm ready to listen it again and really dig in to improving my life all around!

I have had some very specific feedback

I have had some very specific feedback at work about how I respond to difficult situations. I went to my mentor and she suggested this book. I took the assessment and found out what I already knew, that my Emotional Intelligence was not where I would like it to be. What I like about the book is that it gave me specific steps that I could take to make it change. The actions were not complicated or overly dramatic. The results have been fantastic. In the last few months I found that I have bridge the gap in some key relationships that had made a difference in how others perceive me.

Highly recommend

I really wish I could give all of my friends/family a gift of this book. I would label it as an ice-bucket challenge to see if you're ready to get real about taking responsibility for your life, your career and your relationships. Many of the problems that I had with "other people" are really problems I had with being mature and self-assured enough to control my emotions. I'm on week 2 and it's really helping me deal more effectively with office politics and minor, everyday frustrations. Highly recommend.

I continue to work on myself

If more people were taught emotional intelligence, there'd be less dependency on anti-depressants, less violence and better harmony worldwide. I was never taught how to manage my emotions in a healthy way so that they support me and my goals and learning this one skill has made me realize how valuable it really is. I continue to work on myself when I'm challenged or triggered but have so much more confidence now about my ability to respond appropriately to every situation I encounter.

This is a fast listen

This is a fast listen but in order to absorb and really understand enough to apply all the concepts I would suggest listening it thru one and then listen it a second time very slowly.I got a free book in exchange for an honest review.
