awesome content and very hard work of author.

This workbook not only confronts the fact that many of us are emotional eaters, but it shows us how to identify that we are not eating because we are hunger, but because of our mood. Then with compassion, wisdom, and creativity she gives us ways that will help us stop emotional eating. It is so easy for us to just eat, to take our mind off other things. I am bored, so I will eat, or sad, or mad, lonely or any of many feelings.

Arrived in great!

The absolute best book I have ever listen on here….I threw away my scale over a year ago, and I've never been happier with eating what I want when I'm hungry….I re-listen this all the time!

I really appreciate the approach of this new book.

I really appreciate the approach of this new book by this author. Even for those of us who are not binge eaters or obese, the issues she addresses on the origination of core beliefs and practicing gratitude on a daily basis were highly resonant with me. This book takes a comprehensive approach that gets deep inside the psyche and heals it well. It brings you back to your authentic self, which is at its very core, healthy, vibrant and loved. I recommend this book wholeheartedly to anyone who wants to understand themselves, their motivations and their relationships with food and the world.

Highly recommend.

Highly recommend. For those of us who have been going through the motions. For those who are recovering and surviving all life throws (or has thrown) at us but never taking the time to look at our relationship with food as our comfort.

I loved this book.

I loved this book. I have been in DBT therapy for a year now and was feeling frustrated because there were a few concepts I just wasn't understanding. I feel like while reading this book, the way it's worded, the examples used to help you relate to the information, everything just clicked and made sense. I would recommend this book to anyone who has struggled with emotions and self image.

Effective way to get rid of Emotional Eating!!!

Controlling compulsive eating behaviour is the main reason that most diets fail. It becomes harder and harder to start a diet, knowing that you will eventually fail. But this works for me, and its possible for the David Colombo.

This book is great!

This book is great! It's not the kind you listen once and then put it away. I listen it a year ago, but still pull it out all the time to look up certain topics. This is a MUST listen for emotional eaters. Even non-emotional eaters would get a lot out of it. This book is going to stay on my shelf for the rest of my life.

This book has given me hope that I can overcome.

This book has given me hope that I can overcome this stronghold in my life. It is more than a weight loss book. It goes to the heart of an addiction to food. You first have to limit how many times a day you eat, which takes away the compulsive eating. You replace the lies in your head with the truth until eventually, your desire eating goes away. It is a bible study where you get an in depth look at what the Word of God says on how to get rid of strongholds. I had given up hope of ever having victory over compulsive eating and was eating my way to oblivion.

This book is transnational.

This book is transnational. And of the bazillion food issue books I've read I've found this the most practically helpful. My group loved this study and found it life changing. If you are battling the emotional eating problem, this is for you. It answers a lot of the problem we face. Excellent.
