Best book on being human in the best possible way

I am ready to start the book over from the beginning. The author is a wonderful narrator of her own writing, which is crisp, direct, funny, poignant, compassionate, and practical. I wish I had read and understood these concepts and practices as a young adult. I might have avoided much unhappiness and many mistakes, and created better outcomes for myself and my family, friends, and coworkers. I can start putting these principles into practice right now.

I'm on my second read (listen)

I'm on my second read. Why? Because the content has become life-changing. I've read many self-help books, and now I know why they didn't work. They caused me to beat myself up. Instead Dr. David shares in Emotional Agility how to find your values and create "Self-Compassion". The Audible Edition is read by Susan herself and there is an emotion and emphasis that made me feel she was having a personal conversation with me. And I love her accent. Fasten your seat-belt!

Amazing and much needed

An amazing and easy lo "read" book clear enough for someone not technical. Truthfull, honest and helpfull, perfect for anyone who wants to understand their feelings and be mindfull about their handling of life. I absolutely loved it, loved the narrator, the content and the whole book.

Excellent subject but listening is not everyone's

Subject matter is outstanding. Listeners may be discouraged by the authors accent and quirky voice modulation. I toughed it out but it took a few hours to get comfortable with presentation.

A must-have resource for self awareness and growt

After hearing the author, Susan David, interviewed on a few podcasts, I was very excited to read this book. I was not disappointed. The tools and ideas illustrated in this book are extremely accessible, insightful and most importantly, ACTUALLY HELPFUL to everyday mental health and mindfulness.

if you have any emotions you have to read it!

A must read book! I read multiple good books about changing your life, career, having crucial conversations etc. They are full of great tips and rules, but all of them lack the core - fundamental princeples of how to live with your emotions. This book fills the gap - it covers emotions in a systematic, succinct and easy to understand manner, while keeping you a bit entertained and hooked.

Courage is Fear Walking

What a wonderful statement. And the book is chock full of such amazing reminders, training, stories and actionable instruction to further your leadership and develop those around you.
Practical wisdom of the ages brought new by current scenarios. At times I felt she had peeked into my brain and knew my thoughts just enough to say "it is okay, but here is another way to approach this".
