In a world full of ordinary, Eros Wolf is anything but ordinary. Awkward, the other children mock him. Outcast, he struggles to survive.

Only, the world in which he lives isn't so ordinary. There is a secret his mother hasn't told him. A mystery from the past. But before his mother can tell him, she is tragically killed. Then, things begin to happen. Things he can't explain.

The other children no longer taunt him. They're afraid of what will happen if they do. Discarded, he is forgotten by all. All except for one.

Erin is different from the other students. She is kind when others hate. Together they protect each other from a world that they don't understand.

Graduating from Northwestern at 17 and BYU Law School at 19, he forgets his past and the secret he never knew. They are coming. Eros is a young successful lawyer and has everything under control, or so he thinks.

When Erin is brutally murdered, he realizes he knows nothing. A secret worth killing for. A world he didn't know existed. And a mystery so great that if revealed, it would destroy the very world itself.

Bad narrator.

Story might actually be good, except for the style and narrator. Writer tends to go back/forth in Main Character’s life and is especially confusing as the narration does not use enough time putting difference between the time frames. As well as the narrator’s inability to enunciate certain words WITHOUT her distracting southern cadence which does not fit the characters. Could not finish and put aside to a “white noise’ book for naps.
