An Entertaining and Inspiring Audiobook for Young

I really enjoyed listening to Ellie Ment and the Material Matter. The story is engaging, imaginative, and does a great job of blending science with adventure in a way that feels fun rather than educational. Ellie is a strong and relatable main character, and her curiosity and determination kept me interested throughout the audiobook.

The narration was clear and expressive, making it easy to follow the plot and connect with the characters. The pacing was good, and the narrator brought energy and personality to the story, which helped maintain my attention. I did notice a few minor typos or grammar issues, but these seemed related to the audio format and did not take away from my overall enjoyment.

Overall, this is a great audiobook for younger listeners or anyone who enjoys STEM-based adventures with positive messages about teamwork, learning from mistakes, and caring for the environment. I would recommend it to families and students looking for an entertaining and thoughtful listen.

Ellie Ment

I liked the title of the story Ellie Ment a play on words of the science word element. I liked how they compared magic and science, suggesting science is magic, meaning that something's are unexplainable or a mystery. This book kind of reminds me of a science driven version of Harry Potter. I think this would be a very good book for kids 5th grade to middle school that enjoy books about science.

Ellie's curiosity.

First off, this is hands down one of the most brilliantly written children's books I have come across in a while. I loved the puns from the beginning to the end and how it cut across the title of the book as well.
I enjoyed the learning process, the periodic table and the disadvantages of plastics to the ecosystem and balance. I loved the narration as well, beautifully done!

WHERE IS THIS PURPLE SMOKE COMING FROM?

This is a delightfully charming book about a young lady 11-year-old Ellie who is very intrigued by the scientific table of elements that are present in our universe. She receives a pair of wrist braces or bracelets that snap on but she doesn't know what to do with them just yet. Then she learns that some of her friends also have them. They begin to teach her what to do with them. Before she knows it she finds she's able to conjure up all kinds of elements and gases in the environment and from within her own body. There are professors who would rather not see the keepers of the braces learn how to use them. There's one professor in particular who actually gifted Ellie her pair of braces and wants to see her use them properly. But these braces are so powerful that if one were to try to use them and not really have a clue how to do so, they could strike great danger wherever they go. The keepers of the braces must devise clever plans and scenarios about where they go and how they use the braces. They must not let their parents know the full scale truth. Ellie knows that the different elements can be combined and some will cause grave danger while others merely make water. So it's important to understand how the combination of elements works. The group of keepers of the braces notice that purple smoke is rising from their school but they don't know why. So they set out on a quest to try and find out. But there are individuals that would rather they not know what is causing the purple smoke and more importantly the individuals don't want them to stop the purple smoke. The purple smoke rising above the school is the indicator of the school to be destroyed. The school is where the keepers of the braces learn their powers and how to use them. There are those in control that would rather not have their powers exposed. So they will do everything they can to keep Ellie and her fellow keepers of the braces from becoming proficient at their use of the braces. You will have to read the story to find out how it ends!

Ellie’s Mindset blew me out

Ellie Ment is indeed the Element she is, Her mindset, sarcasm and all really draw me in and blew me out, I burst into laughters when she don’t consider any other type of smart aside from Science smart like girllllll🤣🤣🤣for a 11years old Girl she is indeed Elemental. I so love this Novel, listening to it is like watching a movie of how everything play out. Kudos to Jennifer Saunders, you made me Laugh out loud on a day I am having a little sad day thing going on. If you are one who is open minded this is for you, God bless you.
