Any day now, if they solve enough cases.

And good news! They are on a case now. Someone is causing trouble all over their small town of Huckleberry Springs. Each night, the troublemaker strikes - breaking into houses, spilling garbage, and stealing toys. Nobody knows who the culprit is, but everyone blames someone else. Ellie and Ace have to solve the mystery fast – before their neighbors go to war.

Ellie could smell the mystery in the air. She could also smell a lot of knocked-over garbage. She and Ace had a job to do, and they had better do it fast.

Very cute & entertaining book!

There's nothing like hearing a story read aloud - the narration just brought the characters to life! Ellie + Ace are a fun offbeat pair - Ellie was our favorite! Voices were great & the pace was just right for little kiddos to follow along without getting lost!

My 7 year old daughter enjoyed listening and was able to follow the plot without being confused or lost. The audio length was long enough to not make her restless in one sitting. The narrator did a great job with the variety of voices and each character was distinguishable. Looking forward to hearing more stories in this genre!

Kids will love it

My niece really loved this story. It was short and a fun listen. I encourage all to get it, I recommend it.

Cute kids detective book

This is a really cute book for kids that give a terrific intro to detective reads. This is perfect for your budding Sherlock Holmes!

Ellie and Ace are a great combo and really fun to read. I listened with my five year old nephew and he loved it! Fun and easy to follow plot that is not too difficult but not too easy. Perfect for young reads who want to try and solve a mystery!

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Tiffany Williams. She has a great voice that really fits the material. I would have liked a touch more energy in the read, just to keep the movement going. My nephew liked it as well but thought Ace should have had a silly voice.

Overall a fun listen that was quick and tasty!
