As seen on Fox & Friends
Elizabeth Warren is a progressive radical, explicitly running on the most anti-American concepts and policies any candidate has ever run on, and she may very well be the next President of the United States.
Extreme candidates are nothing new in American politics, but very rarely do candidates as extreme as Elizabeth Warren have such a talent for presenting radically dangerous policy ideas as if they are compatible with the American experiment.
An increasing number of far-left progressives have worked their way into the upper echelons of Democratic Party leadership, but none have generated the college campus enthusiasm and media coddling that Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren has created.
Yet, what belies this Harvard professor’s quirky but compelling presentation style are ideas that, as recently as the Obama presidency, were considered far too radical for American life. Worse, the essence of Warren’s platform undermines the economic groups she most claims to want to aid - the frustrated middle class often on the outside of American prosperity looking in. Far from offering the middle class a life line, an Elizabeth Warren presidency represents the greatest threat to the American dream our nation has ever faced.

In this conversational book, Douglas Wilson takes all his burning economic questions and pitches them to David L. Bahnsen. To start: Conservatives have been prophesying hyperinflation for generations now…so where is it? More questions follow: The inflation-hawk approach to public policy screams about creating inflation without realizing that that’s what government policies intend to do—they’re just terrible at it. And those on the left continue to suffocate economic growth. What both sides miss is that the best solution to inflation, deflation, and stagnation is in enterprise.

Neither Washington DC, Wall Street, Mexico, China, the Feds, nor the media are the cause of our problems - nor are they the cure. What happens after all the bogeymen have been vanquished? What if opposing the incompetence of the European Union, the biases of the American media, the corruption of crony capitalism, the arrogance of political power brokers, and allegedly unfair global trade deals is not enough? The key to American prosperity in this new era of populism is for moral people to make responsibility matter again by renewing personal virtue.

Millions of Americans have lost confidence in our political and economic system. After years of stagnant wages, volatile job markets, and an unwillingness by those in power to deal with profound threats such as climate change, there is a mounting sense that the system is fixed, serving only those select few with enough money to secure a controlling stake. With the characteristic clarity and passion that has made him a central civil voice, Robert B. Reich shows how wealth and power have interacted to install an elite oligarchy, eviscerate the middle class, and undermine democracy.

Any ambitious proposal, however, inevitably runs into the buzz saw of how to find the money to pay for it, rooted in myths about deficits that are hobbling us as a country.

The top 1 percent of Americans control 40 percent of the nation's wealth. And, as Joseph E. Stiglitz explains, while those at the top enjoy the best health care, education, and benefits of wealth, they fail to realize that "their fate is bound up with how the other 99 percent live." Stiglitz draws on his deep understanding of economics to show that growing inequality is not inevitable. He examines our current state, then teases out its implications for democracy, for monetary and budgetary policy, and for globalization. He closes with a plan for a more just and prosperous future.

There is no better guide than Paul Krugman to basic economics, the ideas that animate much of our public policy. Likewise, there is no stronger foe of zombie economics, the misunderstandings that just won’t die. In Arguing with Zombies, Krugman tackles many of these misunderstandings, taking stock of where the United States has come from and where it’s headed in a series of concise, digestible chapters. Drawn mainly from his popular New York Times column, they cover a wide range of issues, organized thematically and framed in the context of a wider debate.

In The Real Crash, New York Times best-selling author Peter D. Schiff demonstrates how the infusion of billions of dollars of stimulus money has only dug a deeper hole: The United States government simply spends too much and does not collect enough money to pay its debts, and in the end, Americans from all walks of life will face a crushing consequence.

Texas is booming. But this increase in population has also brought about a shift in the political dialogue within Texas's borders. As more people pour into Texas, they bring with them liberal and socialist ideologies as they try to swing the state from red to blue. In Hold Texas, Hold the Nation West makes his stand, asserting that Texas must hold fast to its conservative ways and resist succumbing to liberal mindsets, or else cease to prosper, and begin to perish.

A few corporations have come to dominate entire sectors of the economy, contributing to skyrocketing inequality and slow growth.

Blending history and cutting-edge economic analysis, and writing in lively and jargon-free prose, Saez and Zucman dissect the deliberate choices (and sins of indecision) that have brought us to today: the gradual exemption of capital owners; the surge of a new tax avoidance industry; and the spiral of tax competition among nations. With clarity and concision, they explain how America turned away from the most progressive tax system in history to embrace policies that only serve to compound the wealth of a few.

Historia
In 2020, the American economy suffered the biggest financial collapse in history. But while Main Street suffered like never before, the stock market continued to reach new highs. How could this be? The answer is that government had slapped oppressive restrictions on small businesses while propping up Wall Street and engineering a historic consolidation of power and wealth. In The War on Small Business, entrepreneur Carol Roth unveils the many abuses of power inflicted on small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In You Will Own Nothing¸ Roth reveals how the agendas of Wall Street, world governments, international organizations, socialist activists, and multinational corporations like Blackrock all work together to reduce the power of the dollar and prevent millions of Americans from taking control of their wealth.

In order to illuminate the fallacies of economism, James Kwak first offers a primer on supply and demand, market equilibrium, and social welfare: the underpinnings of most popular economic arguments. Then he provides a historical account of how economism became a prevalent mode of thought in the United States - focusing on the people who packaged Econ 101 into sound bites that were then repeated until they took on the aura of truth.

Surprised
I hesitated because I’m just not that into the political details of the candidates and I felt that I knew enough about Elizabeth Warren’s plans that I wouldn’t be voting for her. But I’m SO GLAD that I took a chance. Turns out that I learned so much about how our economy works through the lens of her proposals. This book is so clear, organized, human, and packed with new insights without getting bogged down in too much detail which was helpful to me because I’m no financial expert, just a 70 year old woman who cares about America (and politics only because our future depends on it). I even changed some of my views on Big Tech, and others.

You need this
This is not just a book for political junkies. If you have a job, if you earn a paycheck, if you have kids, if you have investments or a 401k or pension, if you own a home, or if you’re actually into voting and political stuff (either side), even if you don’t think she has a chance, you NEED to read this. Its just 4 short hours of your life that you could be wasting on social media or choose to enlighten yourself.

Fast Talking Slickery?
I’m desperately trying to keep up with the swift pace of this alleged takedown. If the author wants to be taken seriously he needs to SLOW down his pace and expand more on his explanations. He also seems to be good at mistaking Warren’s rhetoric for her understanding and creating zero-sum descriptions of complex financial events.
