Publisher's Summary

No se dejan vencer, love it

Like the gardenia . . .

Intense, eternal, beautiful, fragile. Another masterpiece by Isabel Allende. I highly recommend this novel, I just couldn't put it down!

Simplemente hermoso

Just another book

Nothing remarkable about this book .
The reader didn’t know when to stop or begin a sentence , it was like listening to someone that can sound the written words but doesn’t know what they mean , also didn’t know how to pronounce some words in Spanish .

It's worth it

A bit all over the place at first but please stick with it, as story unravels it's totally worth it. As per usual, Isabel Allende gives us precious history lessons and I was surprised at the turmoil the Japanese suffered within the US after bombing of Pearl Harbour. Why hasn't anyone made this into a movie?
