Balachandran Nair is a bilingual poet, story writer and education activist. EFFLUXING REFLEXES is his fourth solo poetry anthology in English. He has translated a Malayalam language anthology, titled Set Up, into English. He has published a short story book in Malayalam language. His poems are part of 92 books published from different countries. Two of his poems, Steal and The Other Mother Outlook, were translated to nearly hundred world languages. He is holding a rare world record in literature for introduction of the largest number (700 as on 31st Dec.2025) of school children as New Poets. He is piloting the sensational global iconic literary venture IAE BALAKAVI School Level New Poets Introduction Extravaganza in which students from all over India and abroad are participants. He is recipient of innumerable awards and accolades from all over the world for his unique literary contributions. Sahitya Academy awards from Telengana State and Gujarat State, India, Knighthood from Jawa, Indonesia, Roll of Honour of UAE, Nelson Mandela Literature & Peace Award, Sri RN Tagore Literary Award, etc., are few to mention.
