A very great read. Some very bold propositions laid out. Overall its a very solid thesis.

Is it Democracy or Moyocracy?

The narrator was not very easy to listen to. She is too forceful in her annunciation of consonant sounds.
If the reforms proposed by the author are to be adopted, I think the political system would not be democratic anymore. Personally, I agree with most of what she has said in this book. The only thing is, I think she is reluctant to openly state that; not only does democracy need an overhaul, but that the whole system needs to be scrapped and replaced with a better one.
Democracy in today's world has outlived its usefulness. It can no longer serve the purpose for which it was initially created. The world has moved into a new phase that can no longer be supported by such a system.

2020 looks like the point of chaos if nothing else

This is a good book, but I don't agree with everything, with my position declared; I am a little worry that some key areas of public policies were omitted such as health, education and environmental issues. Choosing to address political reforms using the economy as a prerequisite might not get to the core of the issue, in my opinion the hard core reality is education, this has to be part of the solution. otherwise a very good book.

Excellent book about our current economic problems

The book explains very well the reasons why economic growth is so low at the moment. The author sees democratic reform as the answers to these problems. The writer says very little about resource depletion, climate change, pollution and bio diversity loss which are affecting economic growth now and which will grow greater into the future.

Well researched but solutions not discussed enough

Well researched and represents strong arguments on why democracy needs to change. The author could have dedicated more chapters to her proposed solutions though
