Suspenseful!

This was a well done mystery that built its tension well. You start off with Maya, an attorney who gets intrigued by the case of a missing teenager. It was well done, her going off on solo adventures but also having someone to come back to to talk things over. I really enjoyed each reveal, they were always a surprise (not a detective in the making here) but I could always find the carefully laid details after. Overall a perfect small town mystery!

Brilliant

I love this audio book and the narration as well I literally listened to it for more than three hours straight, I couldn't stop!! really a suspenseful page-turner filled with unexpected twists, it keeps you on the edge until the very end. I highly recommend it.

A must-listen for mystery fans

Well-written mystery that kept me guessing until the end. I have just finished the second book in the series and hope that there will be more to come!

Great cold case story!

This is a great mystery cold case that pulls you in on the first page and keeps you guessing until the end. The heroine is smart, and like most of us, she's working too much. She takes a vacation that puts her in a small town with a missing girl and a history that she can't ignore. The author does a great job with the characters from the teenager who can't be bothered to the librarian who wants to help. You'll be sad when the book ends and ready to go to book two!

Great Mystery Novel

This was my second Gabby Black novel and just as good as the first one I read. It keeps you engaged from beginning to end wanting to know what’s going to happen. Very enjoyable read.

Suspense & Drama that Entertains

Echos of the Past is a well-written story that takes the listener on a journey with Maya Hartwell as she seeks justice for a missing teen. The town folk are not prepared for her boldness as she opens a case that has been dormant for some time. The narrator does well in keeping the listener engaged throughout the audiobook. The author shows her passion and expertise in writing style with excellent character development. I look forward to the next audiobook in the series.

Love it!

Have already read the book, but wanted to listen the story again with a wonderful narration to get a new experience. Very captivating, entertaining with intriguing and decent story line. Great image of the main character!

Exciting thriller

Who doesn't love an exciting book like this one with suspense and the thrill of mystery? From the first chapter when she is running away from someone in the woods this audiobook had me hooked from the start. The narrator has a soothing voice too - one that you can listen to for hours.

Engaging and fun

This audiobook kept me listening and listening. The characters are very well developed and the story flows very nicely.
