Fine story line horrible narrator
I love these books and how the storyline develops and keeps you interested, But the narrator is just not the right voice for this book. He makes a 38/39-year-old Jack Reacher sound like 75-year-old man that literally reminds me of my grandfather when talking. They messed up by getting rid of Johnathan McClain who narrated the previous 3 books before this one and who was fantastic. Really too bad, because I doubt, I will continue to listen to this book series. To me this series started great, but they just have the wrong guy narrating it.

hard to get through
I love Jack reacher series but this one was a little hard to get through for me because of the highly unlikely situations jack gets to the end of the stories. it was also a slow beginning overall an okay story.

Takes a while to get the meat.
I feel like the first 40 percent could have been cut. Way too long to setup the main plot in my opinion.

Slow Start
The beginning is slow and I almost gave up. But it turned around and got back to classic Reacher half way through.

Switched Narrator, Bad Choice!
Another great Reacher story, with the same great twist you don't expect... too bad they changed the narrator. There were many, many times when I couldn't understand what he was saying because of his breathless delivery. Totally detracted from the story and lessened the experience of a great book. I will probably not buy any more narrated by this guy!

The first of these I had figured out completely
I liked it, but figured it out very early in the story. Excellent delivery, enjoyable overall.

A good Reacher story
I'm certain that the female protagonist was not written as whiney as read. Otherwise, I enjoyed it.

Every time I thought I figured it out, I was wrong
Jack Reacher at his best. I thought I had this one figured out a couple of different times and each time it whacked me in the head coming from another angle. The narration was by Dick Hill and he does an excellent Reacher as well as voicing the other characters so that they come to life. Well worth the read and the credit.
