Publisher's summary

Nothing sets the tone for the day like learning your home planet has just changed ownership.

Today is a day like any other on Earth. People wake and work. Minds plug into electronic devices. Social networks spark with spontaneous brain sputterings. A woman primps. A man scratches his balls. Humans relate, congregate, procreate.

And news anchors across the globe offer an ounce of vital information for every pound of mind-numbing nonsense....

Then, the figurative bomb hits. Screens are ablaze, and radio is abuzz with a news flash like no other:

Earth has been inherited. The planet has a new owner.

And he's not happy to find his endowment overrun by a planetary pestilence.

Earth gets its wake-up call. How would you answer it?

Fun and interesting tale

This was such a fun and interesting tale, it definitely kept my interest and was a neat perspective. I always love Justine’s witty, humorous, whimsical writing, and this doesn’t disappoint.

clever and thought provoking

Story of a being who has been given Earth. Not what you would expect, it sets up the characters very well.

Unique and creative

This certainly isn’t a storyline my brain could have come up with but it was an enjoyable and clever tale. While it wasn’t overtly funny, the cleverness and creativity in the writing was so well crafted throughout, that I found it strikingly entertaining. This was so imaginative, that my brain is still trying to wrap itself around the idea, the originality, of the work. Very well done

Super Interesting Concepts in a Captivating Book!

The book really challenged my view of the world in a good way. I really connected with the narratives throughout the book. The short stories in the book were also very humorous and clever which made it a page-turner. The writing itself is easy to follow ad understand. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for something adventurous, humorous, and exciting!
