A Dying Earth. A New World. A Fight for Survival.

Earth is collapsing—its air poisoned, its lands scorched, its oceans rising. With extinction looming, humanity’s last hope lies light-years away on an uncharted alien planet. Thousands of desperate colonists take the leap into the unknown, risking everything for a second chance.

But survival won’t come easy.

Captain Brian “Finn” Finnegan leads the expedition, only to find a world as ruthless as the one they left behind. Savage predators, treacherous terrain, and a planet that seems determined to expel its new inhabitants. But something even deadlier waits in the shadows—something watching, something hunting.

With the fate of humanity on his shoulders, Finn must push past the limits of his training and forge alliances in the most unlikely places. Because in this new world, survival isn’t guaranteed—it must be earned.
With nowhere left to run, the only option is to fight.

Relatable characters, action, adventure, and a touch of mystery all come together to bring an exciting and diverse story that will leave you wanting more.

Same basic concept. We mess up the Earth. We have to find a new place to live and it has other aliens that has more tech than we do.

interesting story

This book has a campy but intriguing story. The obstacles the protagonists encounter hold your attention pretty well, but the book failed to satisfy my expectations. As far as I can tell, the military aspect through the book is probably pretty true to form. Though some of the scientific inconsistencies are wrapped up in the plot and resolved by the end, that is not true of them all. It's a bit like reading a book from the 50s where the lack of knowledge leaves you thinking, "well that's a little cute." Only in this case, the author could have known better if he'd spent a little more time researching some of the topics. I hope this isn't too harsh. After all, as long as it remains free, it's a worthy listen. If it were read by an actual person, it might call come off better.
