This is one of my my favorite childhood novels and it was a pleasure listening to it again as an adult. The story is gripping and full of personality. My second favorite Alex Rider book surpassed only by Scorpia.

Great, but Sabina leaving is a disappointment.

Alex Ryder is fun-fiction!

Great plot twists! This was definitely a good shoot-'em-up-bang-'em-up, but it ends with Alex being a little sad. That makes it a gentle cliffhanger. (oxymoron! )
