A wonderful book!

A well written, thoughtful, and entertaining book. The book tells amusing and insightful stories from the 25-year career of an ER doctor.

Touching, funny and real ER stories

Dr. Duling’s account of his experiences working in the ER is a fun and easy read/listen. His stories are well told and he uses a well timed sense of humor to offset the sometimes tragic stories. a great book even for those not in the medical field. Well worth your time!

A must read narrative of life in the ER.

I love great memoirs written by medical doctors. This is one of them, crafted from experiences that shaped this man’s life as an emergency medicine doctor. How does an ER doc write about Covid without writing about Trump’s handling of the pandemic? Nothing there is new or unchallenged. Just the facts as they related to being a front line doctor in 2020. Such a book would be sorely lacking if Covid wasn’t included. I (strongly) disagree with the one star political troll “reviews” .

Definitely the worst book I have !

Too dreadful to try to describe - pondorous, schoolboy anal humour, stodgy - cannot believe this person graduated as a doctor. Please, admin, how do I send it back??

1st half of the book was ok, the rest was hog-wash

I'd like my money back.... I didn't buy this book to hear this Doctors lecture on not believing in Christianity, and his hatred of President Donald Jay Trump!

His Political Views Has Nothing to Do With ER

The reason I purchased this book was to hear about his experience as an emergency room physician, not his political views, nor how he thinks the Bible doesn't apply today.
