About Amy-
Amy Welsman is the CEO & Founder of PAUME Inc, and a seasoned entrepreneur with a successful track record of building value across multiple industries. After four successful and productive years in advertising at JWT Toronto, Amy joined Knix, now a major women’s apparel brand and major Canadian success story, as its first employee. Amy took on various responsibilities, overseeing the wholesale strategy and working in supply chain and logistics, marketing, and fundraising through multiple successful crowdfunding campaigns. Sales at the business grew 100x to $10 million/year. After nearly five successful years, Amy left Knix full-time, but remains a shareholder in the business. Today, Knix employs nearly 100 people and has sales of approximately $50 million/year. Since leaving Knix, Amy operated Welsman Corp, a consultancy. She was also a contributing lecturer for the Build a Better Business program at Shopify, where she recorded a series of online lectures aimed at the top performing Shopify ecommerce businesses looking to expand their wholesale channels.
